Socially Responsible Consumption: Myths And Realities in the Context of Agri-Food Companies

The objective of this article was to analyze the factors explaining socially responsible consumption within agri-food companies in Cameroon. We achieved this by conducting a quantitative study using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The questionnaire was administered to 50 respondents, whose responses were coded using SPSS software, and the determinants of SRC were highlighted using SmartPLS software. The main finding is that all the factors studied have a positive impact on the implementation of SRC in agri-food companies in Cameroon, but with very different degrees of influence; they must therefore be ranked in order of importance. However, governance and certification criteria are more important than the others.

The Influence of Capital Structure, ESG (Environmental, Social, And Governance), And Firm Size on Financial Performance of Food & Beverage Subsector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2023

This study examines the impact of Capital Structure, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and Company Size on Financial Performance in Food & Beverage Subsector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023. Using a quantitative approach, it analyzes secondary data from 95 companies, with 23 meeting the sample criteria. Panel data regression was tested using Microsoft Excel and E-Views Series 9. The findings indicate that (1) Capital Structure does not affect Financial Performance; (2) ESG has a positive and significant effect; (3) Company Size negatively affects Financial Performance; and (4) all three variables collectively have a positive and significant impact to Financial Performance.

The Impact of Spiritual, Social, And Emotional Intelligence on the Performance of SMEs in the Covid-19 Pandemic

Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are an important part of the economic system in Indonesia, this can be seen from the number compared to large-scale industrial enterprises. SMEs in their position have advantages compared to large-scale businesses, one of the advantages is being able to absorb more labor and accelerate the process of equitable development. However, currently, SMEs are experiencing problems in achieving better performance. These obstacles do not only come from within the SMEs organization but also from outside. Internal factors are factors that come from the work environment such as organizational culture, attitudes, and actions of colleagues as well as the organizational structure of the SMEs. Internal factors include intelligence it has, there are several bits of intelligence in humans, including emotional intelligence, social intelligence, and spiritual intelligence. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of spiritual intelligence, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence on SMEs actors during the Covid-19 period. This research is a quantitative study with a population of small and medium enterprises. The sampling method is purposive sampling, which was conducted using 90 samples. The approach of data analysis with multiple linear regression. The tool used is a regression with IBM SPSS 25 software. The results showed that spiritual intelligence, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence affected the performance of SMEs during the Covid-19 period.
