Social Media and Some Notes When Using

The world currently exists, moves and develops as a “flat world”, which is both unified, contradictory, cooperative and struggling. Participating in that process is the great role of the mass media, which is now the power of multimedia and, more specifically, social media. Thanks to the exploitation and application of outstanding achievements of information technology, social media exists on digital platforms with many faces. However, besides the outstanding advantages compared to other types of multimedia communication, social media also has disadvantages that users need to be aware of when using. The article is going to investigate the relationship between social media and social networks. Besides, a number of advantages and disadvantages of social media are also indicated clearly, which serves as the basis for the author to propose certain measures to improve the social network environment as well as reduce inconvenience to users. In the article, the Code of Conduct on social networks promulgated by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam is analyzed to help users to be aware of ethical standards of behavior on social networks as well as maintain and develop personal freedom, business freedom, and non-discriminatory service providers at home and abroad, contributing to building a safe and healthy social network in Vietnam.

The Impact of Airline Responds to Service Failure towards Customers’ Satisfaction and Loyalty in the Airline Industry

This study explores the relationship between airline responses to service failures and customer’s satisfaction and loyalty in the airline industry. Using a framework that includes various airline response categories derived from a service blueprint such as overbooking, flight delays, cancellations, lost or damaged luggage, in-flight service issues, customer service failures, and security issues, this study investigates the relationship between these factors and customer satisfaction, as well as the resulting impact on customer loyalty. A qualitative approach has been used alongside by using non-probability sampling that will be use in this study includes snowball sampling and convenience sampling. Upon collected data through survey, the result is then being regressed linearly in SPSS. The analysis of data reveals that effective and timely handling of service failures, as well as considerate handling of complaints, play a significant role in determining customer satisfaction. In addition, customer satisfaction influences customer loyalty positively, highlighting the significance of service recovery in nurturing long-term customer relationships. The findings emphasize the need for airlines to prioritize efficient service recovery processes, such as transparent communication and adequate compensation for service failures. Future research recommendations include investigating the role of technology in service recovery efforts and other service failure scenarios. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on service recovery in the airline industry and offers insights for marketing strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Streamlining Administrative Tasks in Old Age Homes: An Android Application for Efficient Management

This paper aims to give a participatory evaluation of a real application that was put into action in a free-standing senior community. Residents assisted the research team in developing and implementing the first stage of a project that was created to help old people in place and maintain functional independence by using the participatory assessment process. We selected some NGO’s, all of whom gave us the go-ahead to set up the application. The data were generally well received by the locals, who did not feel that they interfered with their daily lives. There were three stages to the adoption and acceptance of the sensors: familiarisation, adaptation and curiosity, and full integration.

The Influence of Work and Communication Facilities on Employee Performance at The Education Department of Labuhan Batu with Motivation as an Intervening Variable

Employee performance is an indicator of the successful operation of government institutions in achieving their goals. The emergence of achievement is influenced by several driving factors, both from outside the individual and from within the individual. Employee performance greatly determines the progress of a government agency. The performance of each employee can be measured by looking at the quantity and quality of work that has been done. Performance is a very important thing in an organization’s efforts to achieve goals. This study aims to determine whether work and communication facilities affect employee performance through motivation as an intervening variable at the Labuhanbatu District Education Office. The study was conducted on 61 employees using a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used was primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained through documentation studies. The data analysis technique used quantitative data which was processed using the SPSS version 25 program, namely the t test, Sobel test and path analysis. The results obtained in this study show 1) there is a significant effect between work facilities on motivation, 2) there is a significant effect between communication variables on motivation, 3) there is a significant effect between work facilities variables on performance, 4) there is a significant effect between communication variables on performance, 5) there is a significant influence between motivational variables on performance, 6) motivational variables can affect work facilities variables on performance, 7) motivational variables can affect communication variables on performance.
