Homelife Stressors and Their Long-Term Impact

There are five theories on human development: Psychoanalytic, Behaviorist, Cognitive, Sociocultural, and Evolutionary- all playing a large role in how humans: interact with one another, battle unconscious impulses, respond to stimuli, form concepts, learn values of society, and develop the need to survive and reproduce (Berger, 2017). From a sociocultural perspective, a lot of these traits we learn are more nurture rather than nature. From birth to old age, connections are being made socially and cognitively from sensorimotor functioning levels to advanced formal operational levels. Family functioning is a very in-depth topic that be used to further examine the effects on children as they grow into adulthood. There are certain necessities that must exist in these family homes to insure a healthy development- physically, mentally, and emotionally. However, there are certain life circumstances that can serve as a barrier to a stress-free lifestyle. A few that have been annotated are relocation, divorce, and unemployment (Berger, 2017). All of which are understood to a more sophisticated degree by the parents and can affect their children depending on their child’s age, genes, and gender. It is not until the ages of six to eleven that children start to cognitively apply logic and begin to have a thinking experience from direct experiences.

A study was conducted to measure the effects of high-conflict divorce on separating families. The goal was to further understand the level of internalizing and externalizing problems that resulted withing the children of separated parents. The child’s perception was one of the measurement tools that were used to determine frequency of stressful situations that were displayed by the parents and it was concluded that parental quality (PQ) can have an effect on their child’s externalizing and internalizing problems, post-divorce (Hara, Sandler, Wolchik, Tein, & Rhodes, 2019).

Several adults were surveyed on their current relationship satisfaction, personal trauma history and other participant data history to further uncover complications that can occur in family homes that may have impact on the family function and the current mental state of these families. There was a total of twenty-two respondents who participated in a ten-item survey.

The Effectiveness of MRI Techniques in Evaluating Multiple Sclerosis Patients

: Background and objective: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common neurodegenerative disease characterized by multiple focal areas of demyelination called plaques or lesions. The main aim of the study is to evaluate patients with multiple sclerosis disease using MRI technology   and to emphasis the effectiveness of this technology in diagnosis of the disease.

Methods:  This study was conducted in order to better recognition and understanding of MS disorder using radiologic MRI techniques and the main problem is the increase prevalence among public population   . The database registry was limited to hospitalized  patients whom diagnosed with  multiple sclerosis  using MRI techniques  and the population of the study was 80 participants  their age elder than 16 years old  in period from April  to  November  2020 .Normal condition or other neurological disorders were excluded.

Results: The most important results obtained in this study is that it is possible to diagnose Multiple sclerosis patients in an accurate manner using magnetic resonance imaging technology.  The outcome of variable detected prevalence of 80 samples 52.5% of them were male, and 47.5% were female and the big distribution group was 53% aged between 30-39 years. The obtained data also showed that the most affected brain region was periventricular matter with 30%, followed by the frontal lobe with 27.5%. clinical etiology big distribution data were achieved for vision Problems with percentage of   22.5 % followed by Dizziness & vertigo sensation with percentage of 18.7% The MRI techniques showed two appearance of MS lesions and plaques, the most distribution achieved for foci appearance with percentage of 75% and patchy appearance with 25% present.

Conclusion: Although for many years there was awareness of the morbidity and mortality associated with Multiple sclerosis however real progress only comes with the ability to early diagnosis using MRI technology.

Sex in Stencil Novels Case Study: Readers’ Reception of Enny Arrow’s Stencil Novel in Surakarta

The phenomenon of sex has always been novel in every era. In Indonesia, for example, Enny Arrow’s stencil novel has been circulating, which has been named as a legend of Indonesian erotic literature. Along with the development of technology, the existence of stencil novels was replaced by DVDs or VCDs, which then continued with the emergence of various sites providing access to pornography. This difference in phenomena certainly makes the meaning of sex for each individual different. This research will analyze the meaning of sex in the stencil novel by Enny Arrow in the eyes of millennial men. The data analysis will focus on social psychological factors using Normand Holland’s literary reception theory. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that there are different views on sexual relations before and after reading the novel. This research is expected to provide a new perspective on the picture of sexuality for modern humans.

The Influence of Integrated Fertilizer on Physiological and Agronomic Character of Aloe Vera L. Plant in Sandy Soil

Abiotic environment usually influence the physiological properties of plants, which consequently affect its growth and yield. The research aims to determine the effect of combined integrated fertilizers on the physiological and agronomic character of Aloe vera plants. The experiment was laid out in RCBD, with three replications. Treatments were factorial combinations of cow manure rate (30 and 45 t ha-1) and humic nitrogen of eight levels i.e. urea, AS, NPK fertilizer, KNO3, humic urea, humic AS, humic NPK, and humic KNO3. Observed variables include physiological and agronomic component of plants. Data were subjected to ANOVA followed by DMRT at 5% significance level. There were significant interaction effect between manure rates and nitrogen sources upon all variables measured. Highest values of stomata index and density were achieved by the combined effect of manure rate of 30 t ha-1 with urea, while manure rate of 45 t ha-1 with humic urea resulted the highest value of stomata aperture. Increase in all physiological as well as agronomical characters were achieved by manure of 30 and 45 t ha-1 with the addition of humic urea.

A Model Examining the Effect of Generative Learning on the Relationship between Diversification and Financial Performance

Organizations are trying to attain and sustain competitive advantage in the highly competitive business world settings. It is argued that one of the strategies to achieve competitive advantage is to form learning organizations. Diversification strategies of organizations are important growth decisions managers need to make. In this paper, organizational learning, learning organization, fundamental diversification strategies and the link between learning and diversification in the literature were discussed shortly. Then, the link between them was revisited considering the literature with a schema. At last, a causal model was introduced. Model suggested that When a company decides to expand its operations by adding new products related to existing product line, with the aim of exploiting its existing knowledge base, this company can reach superior financial performance  (financial performance means profitability) through generative learning. When a company decides to grow by adding a new product line irrelevant to existing product lines, with the aim of exploring new knowledge, then through generative learning, this company can introduce or develop new technologies in forms of new products/services, in other words make innovation. Unrelated diversification does not directly provide high financial performance. But gradually, as the innovation gain awareness, it brings in superior financial performance more than related diversification can bring in.

Formulation Development, Characterization and In Vitro Antibacterial Activity Evaluation of Cefazolin Loaded Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles

The main aims of this manuscript are to: i) investigate the high drug loading of cefazolin and its characterization, ii), demonstrate the bioactivity of the cefazolin particles in vitro on Staphylococcus aureus. From our results, it is observed that the cefazolin loading into MCM-41 particles is 34 wt %. Furthermore, particles showed the burst release of cefazolin at pH 6.8.  At higher concentration, MCM-41 particles are comparatively more cytotoxic as compared to lower concentration. Finally, cefazolin loaded particles showed higher in vitro antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus as compared to cefazolin only.
