The Impact of AI on The Learning Habits of HEI Students

The old paradigms of education are being disrupted as a result of the growing incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) technology into higher education institutions (HEIs). The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence that artificial intelligence-driven tools and platforms, such as adaptive learning systems, intelligent tutoring systems, automated feedback mechanisms, and AI-based content recommendation engines, have on the behaviour of students who are enrolled in higher education institutions. The research finds major changes in students’ study behaviours, time management, and learning preferences. This is accomplished via the use of a mixed-methods approach, which combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with undergraduate and postgraduate students from a wide range of academic fields. The findings indicate a trend towards learning experiences that are more personalized, autonomous, and on-demand. This transition is made possible by the ability of artificial intelligence to analyse individual learning patterns and present information that is suited to those patterns. An over dependence on artificial intelligence, a decrease in critical thinking, and digital exhaustion are some of the concerns that are brought to light by the study. The final section of the study emphasises the importance of integrating artificial intelligence in a way that is balanced, so that it may improve learning outcomes while maintaining cognitive engagement and academic integrity.

The Impact of Study Habits on Academic performance: A Meta-Analysis

This meta-analysis investigates the relationship between students’ study habits and their academic performance across a range of educational levels and cultural settings. The study synthesizes findings from fifteen empirical studies selected through a systematic review of academic databases. These studies employed various research methodologies, including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method designs. They examined the impact of behaviors such as time management, note-taking, goal setting, and self-testing on academic outcomes. The analysis reveals a positive association between effective study habits and academic performance. However, the strength of this relationship varies depending on factors such as educational level, cultural background, gender, learning environment, and institutional support. While many studies report a significant correlation, others show weak or non-significant results, highlighting the complexity of this relationship and the influence of contextual variables. This meta-analysis underscores the importance of integrating structured study skills training into educational programs and developing targeted interventions tailored to students’ individual needs and learning contexts. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how study behaviors affect academic success and offer practical implications for educators, academic advisors, and policymakers aiming to enhance student learning outcomes.

Investigation of Seasonal Fluctuations in Water Quality at Backwater Locations of Nathsagar Dam, Maharashtra

The backwaters of Jayakwadi Dam, situated on the Godavari River in Maharashtra, constitute a critical water resource for the drought-prone Marathwada region. Known as the Nath Sagar Reservoir, this expansive water body plays a vital role in sustaining ecological balance and supporting human activities. It serves as a primary source of drinking water, irrigation, and industrial use, particularly benefiting the urban and peri-urban areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. During periods of water scarcity, the reservoir ensures water availability for both rural and urban populations, highlighting its regional importance.

This study aims to evaluate the Water Quality Index (WQI) of surface water from selected backwater stations of the Nath Sagar Reservoir to determine its suitability for domestic, agricultural, and industrial applications. Water samples were collected from multiple locations and analyzed for ten key physicochemical parameters: pH, electrical conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), chlorides, nitrates, sulphates, total alkalinity, total hardness, biological oxygen demand (BOD), and dissolved oxygen (DO). These indicators were selected for their significance in assessing water quality and potential environmental and health impacts.

The Analysis of Job Satisfaction and Employee Experience on Turnover Intention in Telecommunication Service Companies

Employee turnover is a rising issue in Indonesia’s information and communication sector. PT XYZ reported a turnover rate of 17.2% in 2024. This study investigates the influence of job satisfaction and employee experience on turnover intention among PT XYZ’s permanent employees. Grounded in Job Characteristics Model (Hackman & Oldham, 1976), Organizational Commitment Theory (Allen & Meyer, 2000), and Turnover Process Theory (Mobley, 1977), this research uses a quantitative method involving 45 respondents. Descriptive statistics show both job satisfaction (mean = 3.24) and employee experience (mean = 2.53) at “Fair” levels. Turnover intention also scored “Fair” (mean = 2.14), signaling moderate retention risks. Pearson correlation shows significant negative relationships between job satisfaction (r = -0.482), employee experience (r = -0.404), and turnover intention. Multiple linear regression reveals job satisfaction as a marginally significant predictor of turnover intention (B = -0.480, p = 0.059), while employee experience has no significant effect.The study proposes data-driven solutions including improvements in compensation, career growth, recognition, and conflict resolution. Findings offer practical insight into PT XYZ and support future research on turnover dynamics.

Unveiling the Drivers of Tourist Loyalty: The Impact of Service Quality, Social Media Marketing, and Destination Image on Revisit Intention at Borobudur Temple, Indonesia

This research explores the service quality, social media marketing, and destination image to assess how each significantly influences the tourists’ intention to revisit the Borobudur Temple, a cultural heritage site in Southeast Asia. This study is based on the theory of relationship marketing and destination branding and uses quantitative approach in the design of the research which employed SEM on survey data collected from 250 domestic and international visitors. The findings show that the social media marketing, as well as the service quality of the site, have both significant and positive influences on the intent to revisit and the image of the destination, while the destination image positively affects revisit intention. From this study, it can be concluded that it is critical to improve the service provided and the positive perception of the place using social media, especially in marketing and online brand promotion. In terms of theory, this study merges practice and digital marketing within the heritage tourism loyalty framework. Actionable strategies are provided to tourism policy makers and those responsible for marketing the region, stating that there should be a blend of excellent services on site and active online interaction to achieve tourist loyalty. The study recommends branding tailored to the expectation of the modern traveler, which is sensitive to culture but digitally connected. This research provides an empirical model aimed at reinforcing the intention to revisit cultural heritage sites which contributes to sustainable development of the destination.

Project Management Strategy to Get Project Expansion Using Value-Focused Thinking and Analytical Hierarcy Process (Case Study: PT PLN Nusantara Power Construction)

PLN Nusantara Power Construction (PLN NPC) is a second-tier company of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) and is under the auspices of PT PLN Nusantara Power. Currently, PLN NPC has been trusted to participate in a global project, namely ECRL (East Coast Rail Link) in Malaysia, which is also the first global project for PLN NPC. ECRL (East Cost Rail Link) is an electrified double-track railroad project being built by the Malaysian government under the auspices of Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd. The project has been under construction since 2019, and it runs from Malaysia’s eastern tip (Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang) to its western tip (Selangor, Putrajaya), with a railroad length of +665 kilometers.

The EPCC project, which is being carried out by PLN NPC at ECRL Malaysia, includes numerous areas such as the development of electricity power infrastructure, the procurement of labor engineers, procurement and construction. This project was implemented successfully. However, by the beginning of 2025, PLN NPC saw an opportunity to add and expand the Malaysia ECRL project. Given this possibility, PLN NPC must take strategic movement to capitalize on it and expand the project.

The author’s analysis through interviews and brainstorming with experts and further analysis using Value Focused Thinking (VFT) shows that there are five alternative strategies that PLN NPC can implement to obtain project expansion in the ECRL project: (1) Enhance Company Assets in Technology, (2) Networking with Global Companies, (3) Increase Contracts with Subcontractors, (4) Engage & Communicate with Stakeholders, (5) Monitoring Stakeholder Movement. The next methodological approach to determine which alternative strategy is appropriate for PLN NPC is the use of the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), which indicates that Networking with Global Companies is the appropriate alternative strategy for PLN NPC to achieve the objectives of the ECRL project, namely project expansion.

Exploration Analysis on the Global Frameworks of Quality and Quality Indicators in VET: Comparison, Inferences and Implications

This article synthesizes findings from various documents for Quality in Education in the field of VET and focusses on the “Quality indicators in vocational education and training: International perspectives” and related European Union (EU) documents to explore frameworks for quality assurance in Vocational Education and Training (EQAVET). It scrutinizes the evolution of VET quality assessment, examining the shift towards systematic monitoring and the “fabrication” as well as integration of diverse quality indicators within different context. It compares the approaches in the EU and the United States, and also identifies the importance of stakeholder involvement, harmonization, and responsiveness to labour market needs, and etc.  Discusses are the challenges and opportunities in aligning national VET systems with international standards, particularly within the context of EU integration. The analysis emphasizes the need for a holistic approach to quality measurement that considers both quantitative and qualitative factors. The article tries to explain the core concepts of the EU’ strategies of the “quality indicators”  to enhance VET effectiveness and relevance in a rapidly changing landscape.

Developing of a Teaching Module Based on Guided Discovery Learning Assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) on polyhedra Material for Students’ Conceptual Understanding in Phase D

This study aims to address the issue of students’ low conceptual understanding in geometry learning, particularly in the topic of polyhedra, which tends to be abstract. Many students struggle to visualize three-dimensional shapes due to the lack of interactive, student-centered learning media. To overcome this challenge, a teaching module based on Guided Discovery Learning, supported by Augmented Reality (AR) with GeoGebra, was developed to enhance students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Data were collected through validation sheets, classroom observations, learning style questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and pre-test and post-test assessments. The results showed that the developed teaching module was valid, practical, and effective. The instrument validation scores for the teaching module were 4.47, for the LKPD (student worksheet) 4.30, and for the pre-test and post-test questions 4.40, all categorized as valid. Practicality was indicated by an implementation observation score of 4.47 (high category) and a positive student response rate of 87%. The module’s effectiveness was evidenced by a classical mastery percentage of 80.9% and an N-Gain score of 0.7 (moderate category), indicating a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding of polyhedra under the Kurikulum Merdeka. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Guided Discovery Learning-based teaching module, supported by Augmented Reality, be used as an innovative alternative for geometry instruction to improve students’ mathematical conceptual understanding of the topic of polyhedra.

The Intracavitary Compass: Intracavitary Electrogram Guided Temporary Pacing when Fluoroscopy is Unavailable

Temporary transvenous pacemaker (TPM) placement without fluoroscopy is typically guided solely by surface electrocardiogram (ECG), a technique lacking anatomical precision and associated with procedural risks. We describe a safer alternative based on continuous intracavitary electrogram (I-EGM) monitoring, obtained directly from the pacing lead during implantation. In a patient with complete atrioventricular block and urgent indication for renal replacement therapy, we used an active-fixation lead to allow real-time correlation between lead progression under fluoroscopic visualization and intracavitary electrogram signals. We were able to accurately identify the lead’s passage through the right atrium, right ventricle, and its endocardial contact point prior to final fixation. This technique, which we refer to as the “intracavitary compass,” enhances both safety and accuracy in temporary pacemaker placement, particularly in settings where fluoroscopy is unavailable.

Marketing Challenges Faced by Agri and Allied Startups: A Study on Selective Organisations in Madhya Pradesh

In the evolving landscape of agribusiness, understanding the marketing challenges faced by agri and allied startups is essential for fostering sustainable growth and innovation. This research delves into the complex interplay of economic, social, and technological factors that impede the marketing efforts of these nascent enterprises in Madhya Pradesh. By examining selective organizations within the region, the study aims to identify key barriers and enablers specific to the agri startup ecosystem. Initial findings indicate that inadequate access to funding and resources significantly hampers marketing initiatives, restricting startups from implementing comprehensive marketing strategies (Lawrence OU, 2025). Furthermore, the lack of market intelligence and understanding of consumer preferences obstructs these organizations from effectively positioning their products and services within a competitive marketplace (Khalisha A et al., 2025). A crucial aspect of the research involves evaluating the role of digital marketing platforms which, despite having emerged as critical tools for connecting with consumers, remain underutilized by many agricultural startups due to limited technological expertise (K Morin et al., 2024). The study highlights the need for targeted training programs that equip entrepreneurs with the knowledge required to leverage these platforms efficiently. Additionally, the uniqueness of cultural and regional contexts in Madhya Pradesh necessitates tailored marketing strategies rather than a one-size-fits-all approach commonly employed by larger firms (Maulana FR, 2024). Market segmentation also reveals significant insights; locally produced goods often compete with well-established brands that dominate consumer preferences, leading to a challenge in brand recognition and loyalty for these startups (K Morin et al., 2023). With consumers increasingly inclined towards sustainability, startups have an opportunity to capitalize on this trend by emphasizing organic and environmentally friendly practices in their marketing campaigns (Elragal R et al., 2024). However, the research uncovers that many startups struggle to communicate these value propositions effectively, leading to missed market opportunities (Ahmed NZA-A et al., 2024).Moreover, challenges pertaining to supply chain management and logistics further complicate marketing efforts. Inconsistent product quality and delivery issues can undermine customer trust and satisfaction, critical factors that influence long-term business viability (Kountios G et al., 2023). Understanding these logistical hurdles and developing robust supply chain strategies will be paramount for agri startups aiming to enhance their market outreach (Neves MF et al., 2020). The study employs a mixed-method approach, incorporating qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys from selected agribusiness startups in Madhya Pradesh. This dual approach not only enriches the data but also allows for a comprehensive analysis of the marketing challenges faced (Dr.Mishra A, 2025). Field interviews revealed that many entrepreneurs express a desire for stronger networks with industry stakeholders, which could facilitate knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts in marketing (Neves MF et al., 2020). Such collaboration may prove beneficial, as it encourages joint marketing endeavors and resource sharing among startups, amplifying their competitive advantage (R Balaji et al., 2023).Finally, the research concludes by suggesting strategic pathways for these organizations to navigate their marketing challenges more effectively. It emphasizes the importance of developing a coherent marketing strategy that integrates innovative practices with a deep understanding of the local market dynamics (Weerasekera S, 2023). By fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience, agri startups can not only overcome existing hurdles but also leverage their unique positioning in the market to achieve sustainable growth (Kaur R et al., 2023). Overall, the findings of this study underscore the urgent need for more comprehensive support systems that empower agri startups, ultimately leading to a more robust agricultural sector in Madhya Pradesh (Pant M et al., 2023). In sum, this research contributes critical insights into the myriad marketing challenges faced by agri and allied startups, providing a foundation for future studies that can explore additional dimensions of this vibrant yet struggling sector. By addressing these challenges, stakeholders can better support the emergence of successful agricultural enterprises in the region, fostering overall economic development (Iliyas M, 2023)(María Ancín et al., 2022)(Alobid M et al., 2022)(Sexton A et al., 2022)(Robert M Chiles et al., 2021)(Yogesh K Dwivedi et al., 2020).
