Analysis of The Application of SAK EMKM In Improving The Quality of Financial Statements at UMKM Himalayan Coffee

The food and drink company Himalayan Kopi makes a decent profit every year. However, the financial reporting of this firm does not yet meet accounting standards since manual recording is still being used. One of main issues with adopting the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) is the lack of awareness among MSME owners. This research will look at how MSMEs in the Himalayan coffee industry have adopted SAK EMKM to make their financial reports more credible. This study takes a qualitative approach by using a case study to investigate MSMEs in the Himalayan coffee industry. Notation, interviews, and careful observation were the tools used for data collection. According to the results of the research, Himalayan Kopi MSME’s financial reports were less comprehensive and less methodical before SAK EMKM was implemented. This was because the reports just detailed cash inflows and outflows, rather than the overall financial health of the firm. With SAK EMKM in place, financial reports are more organized and accurate, allowing for a more precise assessment of business performance. Financial data that may support business choices is made more open via SAK EMKM, which is an additional perk. To better prepare for the difficulties of implementing this standard, businesses may consider taking accounting classes and seeking assistance with preparing financial reports in accordance with applicable standards.

Web Assembly and Blockchain for High-Performance Secure Front-End Systems

Web Assembly (Wasm) and blockchain technology offer a viable solution for reliable and high-performance front-end systems. Wasm provides high execution speeds by incorporating code from high-level languages to improvise on performance limitations. Its sand-boxed execution model enhances security by extenuating memory-related weaknesses. Similarly, blockchain reinforces security with decentralized, tamper-resistant data structures and smart contracts. Conventional blockchain frameworks often suffer from computational overhead, but Wasm-based execution platforms like Polkadot and EOS optimize resource utilization and improve interoperability. This integration facilitates high-speed, reliable interactions in decentralized applications (dApps). Potential benefits include fast and secure off-chain computations, hence reducing blockchain congestion in front-end frameworks. However, challenges remain in securing Wasm execution in decentralized environments and optimizing blockchain and Wasm interoperability. A promising direction is to exploit Just-In-Time (JIT), Ahead-of-Time (AOT) compilation schemes along with zero-knowledge proofs to further enhance performance and security characteristics. By coupling Wasm’s efficiency with blockchain’s security, scalable and decentralized front-end systems are evolving to meet challenging web demand scenarios.

Library Design and Academic Performance: Implications on Students’ Engagement

Libraries play a crucial role in shaping students’ engagement and academic success, not only by providing access to resources but also through the quality of their physical environment. This study determined the influence of library design on students’ engagement and academic performance. A total of 252 first-year students enrolled in Academic Year 2024–2025 were selected using the Taro Yamane formula and random sampling. A descriptive-correlational research design was used, and data were gathered through a structured survey questionnaire. Descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation were utilized, along with multiple regression analysis to examine relationships among the variables. Findings revealed that students rated the library design—specifically in terms of physical layout and organization, lighting and acoustics, ergonomics, technology infrastructure, and green spaces—as generally very good. Academic performance, measured through GPA, and library engagement, assessed through library visits, resource utilization, facility use, and program participation, both received most of the time ratings. Regression results showed that physical layout and organization, green spaces or nature integration, and lighting and acoustics significantly influenced student engagement. However, when taken in isolation, ergonomics, technology infrastructure and GPA did not show significant influence. The positive average rating for library design and engagement suggest that librarians implement programs and activities that leverage well-rated design features to further enhance student engagement.

High-speed resistance training Vs Low-speed resistance Training on Functional Capacity and Muscle Performance Among Post Menopausal Women

Objective: To examine the effects of 12 weeks of high-speed resistance training (RT) versus low-speed RT on muscle strength [one repetition of maximum leg-press (1RMLP) and bench-press (1RMBP), plus dominant (HGd) and non-dominant maximum isometric handgrip], power), ball throwing (BT) and, functional performance [8-foot up-and-go test (UG) and sit-to-stand test (STS)], and perceived quality of life in older women.

Methods: 90 older women were divided into a high-speed RT group [EG, n = 30 ], a low-speed RT group [SG, n = 30] and a control group [CG, n = 30]. The SG and EG were submitted to a similar 12-week RT program [3 sets of 10  reps at 40–75% of the one-repetition maximum (1 < RM) and BT] using slow, controlled (3 s) concentric muscle actions for the SG and using fast, explosive (< 1 s) concentric muscle actions for the EG (20% less work per exercise without BT).

Results: The dependent variable improved in both RT groups over the course of the 12-week training period in small to large clinically significant ways, however there was a significant difference between the EG and SG for the performance changes in BT and UG (28% vs 23%, 21%vs 13% p<0.01 respectively). for the CG, no notable alteration were noted.

Conclusion: While a high-speed RT program produces larger improvements in muscular power and functional task performance, both low-speed and high-speed RT therapies are successful in enhancing functional capacity, muscle performance  and quality of life in older women.
