Coaching Effectiveness in Ideation of PLN LDP Level 3

This study evaluates the effectiveness of coaching in the Ideation of Leadership Development Program (LDP) Level 3 at PT. PLN (Persero), focusing on Coach-Client Relationship theories (Diller et al., 2022) and the ADKAR model by Hiatt (2006). It investigates the influence of coach-coachee dynamics, including Working Alliance – Task and Goal, Perceived Empathy, Perceived Need Supportive Behavior, and Closeness, on the success of the coaching process. Additionally, the research assesses the ADKAR model’s components (Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, and Reinforcement) and Team Effectiveness based on Process Criteria (Effort-Related, Strategy-Related, and Knowledge & Skill-Related) in group project facilitation. Utilizing a quantitative approach, online questionnaires were distributed to 19 individuals who met the necessary criteria, including being participants in two coaching sessions of Ideation 3 Batch 5 and holding positions as potential leaders three tiers beneath the board of directors, consisting of Managers in Service Units, Vice Presidents in subsidiaries, and Assistant Vice Presidents. The responses then would be analyzed via IBM SPSS 27.0. Results indicate significant correlations between Coach-Client Relationship, ADKAR model, and Team Effectiveness, enhancing the understanding of coaching in personnel development. This finding highlights the necessity of a well-aligned coaching process to foster effective individual change readiness. Moreover, the finding also reveals that the coaching process extends beyond individual development and has a significant influence on team collaboration and effectiveness. A well-aligned coaching process can more effectively prepare individuals for the transitions and developments required in leadership roles and equip them to contribute positively to team environments. While this study contributes to a better understanding of coaching as a method for people development, there are some limitations concerning the sample and limited time of the study. Future research with a larger and varied sample, across-case data collection, and various additional data is needed. Testing with before-after questionnaires, forum group discussions, and a mixed-method approach would be particularly interesting, including diverse leadership levels and genders.

Assessment of Quipper as Learning Management System of Saint Paul University Surigao

A school learning management system (LMS) is extremely important in the current educational landscape since it transforms how educational institutions administer and deliver their courses. LMS gives educators a strong platform to produce, organize, and distribute instructional content while enabling students to access resources, participate in interactive learning activities, and collaborate with peers by seamlessly integrating technology into the learning process. This study was conducted to assess the level of utilization, level of satisfaction, and level of effectiveness with Quipper as an LMS in Saint Paul University Surigao (SPUS), Surigao City, Philippines. The research design was quantitative, and researchers used a survey questionnaire to gather data from the college faculty of SPUS during the academic year 2022-2023. To ensure reliable results, 33 college teachers were purposefully and conveniently chosen as respondents. The data were analyzed using various parametric and non-parametric statistical tools considering the normality of the data. The study revealed that variables such as sex, age, department, highest educational attainment, and years of teaching experience did not significantly impact Quipper’s utilization and satisfaction among teachers. The profile of college faculty members also did not significantly affect Quipper’s effectiveness as a learning management system. However, the department variable significantly influenced Quipper’s performance, with frequent utilization leading to higher satisfaction and effectiveness. Overall, Quipper was widely used, effective, and met the needs of the college faculty at SPUS. The study suggested room for improvement, and the administration could establish clear implementation goals, offer incentives to consistent users, provide proper training and guidance, and encourage teachers to explore more features to better support students’ learning.

Examining Factors Affecting Curriculum Implementation in Achieving High Academic Performance in Malawi – A Case Study of Kadzakalowa Community Day Secondary School (Ntcheu)

This study examines the factors affecting curriculum implementation in achieving high academic performance in Malawi, with a specific focus on Kadzakalowa Community Day Secondary School in Ntcheu. The study employs a qualitative research design, using interviews and observations to collect data from teachers, students, and school administrators. The study aims to identify the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing the curriculum, explore the strategies that teachers and school administrators employ to ensure successful curriculum implementation, and determine the impact of curriculum implementation on student academic performance. The findings provided an insights into the factors that contribute to successful curriculum implementation in Malawi and offer recommendations for improving curriculum implementation in the country. the study review also that thus factors, Lack of resources, Lack of qualified teachers, Poor students motivations, Lack of school fees, Poor curriculum implementation, Poor motivation of teachers, Poor administrative leadership and Long distance were factors affecting curriculum implementation in achieving high academic performance in Malawi at Kadzakalowa Community Day Secondary School in Ntcheu.

A Meta-Analysis of Assessment on Educational Institutions

This analysis on the educational institutions’ assessment and the impacts of class-based-together evaluation with respect to learning and teaching. In this analysis, 13 articles were included from different aspects related to educational institutions. There were critical quantities of teachers who could have done without instructing with class-based evaluation and expressed that class-based assessment has expanded their responsibility. All in all, instructors have inspirational perspectives toward utilizing evaluation techniques that require mental intricacy from understudies as well as posing inquiries that require a more significant level of thinking to reply. Despite the fact that teachers’ perspectives are connected with their ability toward utilizing such evaluation approaches in their classes somewhat. The result of this review might add to better performance of class-based assessment in this educational section and also the absence of correspondence between teachers’ attitudes and their assessment rehearses. The Evaluation of National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular disease and Stroke (NPCDCS) in Kashmir

Aim: To monitor and evaluate the NPCDCS programme and examining the infrastructure and human resource management of this programme

Methodology: Secondary data was collected from NPCDCS Kashmir and analysis was done on the generated secondary data for FY April 2018 – March 2019, FY April 2019 – March 2020 and FY April 2020 – March 2021. Study population was the patients enrolled in the NPCDCS Programme during FY April 2018 – March 2019, FY April 2019 – March 2020 and FY April 2020 – March 2021 in Kashmir. Permission was taken from the NPCDCS administration along with ethical approval from the ethics committee. Evaluation of NPCDCS Organizational structure, Infrastructure including human resources was done by visiting the NCD cells of some the districts of Kashmir.

Results: The study was done on 3 financial years i.e., 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21. The data presents the prevalence of Diabetes, Hypertension, CVD’s, Stroke and Cancers. The prevalence of diabetes and hypertension were increasing alarmingly in these 3 years. Counseling was going in higher rates till 2019-20 but there was a sudden drop in the rate of counseling sessions due to Covid 19 pandemic situation in the year 2020-21.

Conclusion: The NPCDCS programme focused on awareness for behavioral and life style modifications. The infrastructure and human resource system is well developed. Many cases which couldn’t be reached out and were hidden were diagnosed by the help of camps and regular OPD’s at NCD cells. In a long run it will be very beneficial as the burden of diseases will be reduced to some extent. As seen in the data, the cancer detection is not as it is desired to be. The early screening for oral cancers in males and breast and cervical cancer in females should be achieved through awareness campaigns to make NPCDCS programme more successful.

 

Evaluation of Vocational Training during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period in Indonesia

Research based on the conditions of the COVID -19 pandemic and government policies in reducing unemployment through vocational training. However, the vocational training program at the Ministry of Manpower during the COVID -19 pandemic period in 2021 did not have a significant impact. This study aims to evaluate the ministry of workforce’s vocational training program during the COVID -19 pandemic in 2021. The research was conducted through a qualitative approach using the CIPP guidance theory. Data collection methods using observation and unstructured and semi-structured interviews, documents, and literature studies. The research uses data analysis techniques with three stages, in the form of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results of the study concluded that the vocational training program at the Ministry of Manpower had not been successful in terms of input, process, and product aspects. From the input aspect, the vocational training program’s resources are insufficient. From the process aspect, there are still constraints on the realization of the training, supervision, and instructor skills. Meanwhile, from the product aspect, it cannot be ensured that the participants will be placed after training.

Transformation of Public Transport Based on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Implementation of Buy the Service (BTS) Scheme in A Metropolitan City of Sarbagita, Bali

The level of congestion in Indonesia’s big cities, including Denpasar, is already so severe. This is inseparable from the phenomenon where most people in Indonesia now have a car transportation system that is growing rapidly. Furthermore, the city is characterized by high car dependence and a low and steadily declining public transport profile. The Indonesian government seeks to transform the public transportation industry so that drivers want to change to public transportation through the implementation of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and most recently, in 2020 the government through the Ministry of Transportation launched the “Buy the Service” program or known as BTS which has been implemented in Indonesia. 5 big cities, namely: Palembang, Solo, Medan, Yogyakarta, and Denpasar. Then followed by Bandung, Makassar, Banjarmasin, Surabaya, and Banyumas in 2021. However, there is an indication that the interest of private car users to switch to using public transportation is very small. The study is intended to evaluate of service or transit improvement. Identify different categories of impacts and how to measure them, discuss the best way to evaluate public transport and identify common mistakes that distort results as well as discuss the travel impacts of changes to the transit system (BRT) and incentives (BTS). The results of this study are expected to explain ways to optimize transit benefits by increasing system efficiency, increasing passengers and creating more transit-oriented land use patterns.
