Life History of Retired Staff at Inifap, Veracruz, Mexico

This research is focused on knowing the life histories of retired personnel of the general base-field tabulator who worked at INIFAP for the regulatory period, which is more than 30 years of service. The premise of the study is that there are specific cases where sometimes there are people who retire and enjoy their pension very little time because they die in the short time after that stage of retirement. The study was conducted with a naturalistic paradigm through a descriptive case study approach, and the prioritization of qualitative data focused on the life stories of people already retired from INIFAP. In this case, two people already retired some years ago from INIFAP and who were assigned to the Cotaxtla Experimental Field and identified in the document as Participant 1 and 2, respectively, participated. A script for the interviews, as well as an interview recorded with a high-end cell phone were used as instruments in the collection of life histories, in which the information was systematized by means of the aforementioned instrument and thus have the complete chronicle. With this research, it is intended that the approaches expressed in this article serve as support to those who have in their daily life will have similar situations to the one exposed and, specifically, so it is concluded that it was possible to identify several factors that motivated and at the same time satisfied the INIFAP field personnel who retired in previous years.

The Impact of the Existence of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) Business Sectors on Village Development in Indonesia

Through various policy programs, the government provides stimuli for villages to manage their existing potentials, enabling them to develop independently and improve their economy. BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) is one of the government’s flagship programs in village development, performing its role as an economic and social institution. The existence of BUMDes is expected to enhance economic self-reliance and community welfare. This research aims to empirically analyze the influence of business sectors and the number of businesses managed by BUMDes on the level of village development in Indonesia. By using the Propensity Score Matching method and linear regression on BUMDes data between 2019 and 2021, this research concludes that BUMDes engaged in social and commercial sectors have a significant impact on the level of village development. However, an increasing number of businesses operated actually decreases the effectiveness of the presence of the Business Sector of BUMDes on village development.

The Contribution of Tourism to the Economic Growth of a Country

Tourism has economic effects as well as political and social effects, but its economic effects are more than social and political effects. Tourism is closely related to the economic growth and development of countries and creates better job opportunities and an increase in income. Therefore, tourism is a significant cause of economic development, the economic value of which increases with each passing day. It can make a positive change in the economic and social situation of the countries. The results of the research indicate that, along with increasing the income of developing countries, the development of tourism has also created suitable activities, and while reducing the level of poverty, it has prevented the immigration of young people and attracted foreign investment. The findings of the research show that one out of every nine working people in the world is engaged in tourism-related matters.

The Impact of Open Sky on Airlines Theoretical Study: Case of Tunisia

At the level of this article to understand the potential economic effects of an “open skies” agreement, in particular on competition, prices and airline profits. We will try in a first part to determine if consumers will benefit from price reductions following the entry into force of an Open Sky agreement, we will also try to see the effects of “open sky” agreements on competition.

 

Community Empowerment in the Time of the Covid-19 Pandemic through Strengthening MSMEs in East Java

People’s economic empowerment is an effort to create a strong, large, modern, and highly competitive economy in the correct market mechanism. Because the obstacles to people’s economic development are structural constraints, the empowerment of the people’s economy must be carried out through structural changes. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit many countries, including Indonesia. Covid-19 has had an impact on various sectors including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including the decline in the number of sales.

This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. This research uses a case study approach, which is an empirical inquiry that investigates phenomena in real-life contexts, where the boundaries between phenomena and contexts are not clear, and there are multiple sources of evidence. The results of the research are that business actors seek to find marketing and sales alternatives, secure capital and assets, temporarily transfer them to other businesses, and must learn technologies that are considered effective for promotion and sales.
