A Model for Individual Creative Tasks for Students in TVET: Analysis and Illustrative Applications with Examples

In the article a conceptual model is developed with the core strategies and stages of its implementation as well as the framework for integration process, focusing in identifying core competences incorporating creative task into the curriculum and proving opportunities for showcasing student work. In the text are listed examples of creative task in the field of Electrical science, Electronics and Computer science. It examines the critical role of creativity and critical thinking in secondary vocational education, emphasizing the implementation of innovative pedagogical models. It identifies key challenges faced by students in engaging with individual creative tasks, including the generation of novel ideas, the development of effective problem-solving strategies, efficient time management, and the articulation of concepts. The article highlights the Design Thinking process as a human-centered approach to problem-solving, alongside the Project-based Learning (PBL) framework, which facilitates the application of theoretical knowledge to authentic, real-world projects. By integrating these methodologies, educators can enhance students’ practical skills and better prepare them for future vocational endeavors. Furthermore, the article provides illustrative examples of creative tasks, such as designing marketing campaigns, developing product prototypes, and formulating business plans, which serve to contextualize students’ learning experiences. Ultimately, this exploration aims to equip educators with effective strategies for fostering creativity within vocational education, thereby enriching student learning outcomes and professional readiness.

Application of the Project Based Learning Model in Improving Creativity and Entrepreneurial Skills for Independent Entrepreneur Students at the Kupang Negeri Polytechnic Campus

Implementation of the Independent Curriculum requires that lecturers carry out learning and teach students using a student-centered learning model. Project Based Learning (PjBL) is a studentcentered learning method.

Entrepreneurship is a science that emphasizes attitudes and creativity, where creativity is a skill needed in the digital era.

The Merdeka entrepreneurship program is one of the independent learning programs in the Merdeka learning curriculum at the Merdeka campus as a certified independent entrepreneurship development program to prepare individuals who are competent in developing businesses. Learning is used with a project based learning model. This learning activity includes individual and team learning. The aim of the research is to determine the process of implementing the project based learning model in increasing students’ creativity and skills in making business products and the results of increasing students’ creativity and skills in making business products through the project based learning model in learning creative product entrepreneurship courses for the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year.

This research is classroom action research with a project based learning model. The research subjects were students in the 6th semester of the Public Sector Accounting study program, totaling 100 students. Implementation from April to August 2023, consisting of 3 cycles, with stages: “Observation, Planning-Action & Reflection”. Actions are carried out by researchers and collaborators who are tasked with observing and recording any existing developments. The data collection method used is observation. Data analysis was carried out by measuring the creativity and skills of the product results of several types of businesses, namely by presenting them in the form of tables and percentages. The research results show that initial observations show that many groups still lack creativity and skill. In implementing the project based learning (PJBL) method, students experience an increase in their creative thinking and skills after being given action. Increased creativity in making student business products in learning creative products and entrepreneurship in semester 6 2022/2023 amounted to 84.66%, and increased skills in making student business products amounted to 81,25%. The description above shows that the project based learning (PJBL) method can increase student creativity and skills in learning creative products and entrepreneurship.

Empowerment of Women’s Creativity at Dians Songket and Endek Housein the Village of Gelgel, Klungkung: A Perspective of Presidential Instruction

This study focuses on empowering the creativity of the women of the Songket and Endek House Dians based on the perspective of Presidential Instruction No. 9 year 2000. The formulation of the problem is as follows: (1) Why does the empowerment of the Songket and Endek House Dians women’s creativity still exist? (2) What are the implications for improving the quality of life of the population, especially women, in accordance with Presidential Instruction No. 9 year 2000? The research method is qualitative in nature supported by bibliographical data sources to sharpen the conceptual, theoretical, and analytical framework. Gender analysis is used as an alternative tool to integrate the aspirations, interests, and roles of the population, especially women who are gender responsive. The findings show that the empowerment of Dians Rumah Songket and Endek has continued to exist through the pandemic period. This is inseparable from internal factors, namely the role of business actors, and external, namely the role of development actors (government, community, BUMN). In accordance with the business vision of Dians Rumah Songket and Endek, which is to develop businesses with positive aims to improve the quality of life of residents, especially women and realize gender equality. This has directly supported the targets that must be achieved in accordance with those set out in the MDGs guidelines, including alleviating poverty and promoting gender equality.
