An Analysis of the Role of Work Motivation and Work Discipline in Improving Employee Performance: Job Satisfaction as a Mediating Factor (Case study on PT Prima Sejati Sejahtera I)

This study analyzes how worker motivation and discipline affect performance through job satisfaction. Using primary data, this study is quantitative. This study took a sample of all workers totaling 48 people because the population was below 100. Path analysis and multiple linear regression are used. The hypothesis of this study produces the following conclusions: work motivation, discipline, and job satisfaction improve employee performance at PT Prima Sejati Sejahtera I. Work motivation and discipline increase job satisfaction in employees. PT Prima Sejati Sejahtera I workers will be more productive when job satisfaction is high, because they can moderate the relationship between work motivation and work discipline.

The Influence of Organizational Culture and Work Motivation on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as Mediation Variables (Case Study PT. BPR Eka Ayu Artha Bhuwana)

This research aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable. The independent variables in this research are organizational culture and work motivation. The dependent variable in this research is employee performance and the mediating variable in this research is job satisfaction. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data used is primary data and secondary data, with a research sample of 32 people who are employees of PT. BPR Eka Ayu Artha Bhuwana. Hypothesis testing is carried out using a variance-based Structural Equation Model (SEM) or what is called Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the research show that organizational culture has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, organizational culture has a significant positive effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and not significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and not significant effect on performance employees, job satisfaction is not a mediation of the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance and job satisfaction is not a mediation of work motivation on employee performance.

The Influence of Work Competence and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT Hardware Clothing Area Banjarbaru

The aim of this research is to determine: (1) The influence of work competency and work motivation simultaneously on employee performance. (2) The partial influence of work competency and work motivation on employee performance. (3) Which variable is the most dominant between work competence and work motivation on the performance of PT Hardware Clothing Area Banjarbaru employees. This research is quantitative research with a correlation design. Sampling was carried out using a saturated sampling technique with 30 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire method, then the results of the questionnaire are tested on instruments to test their validity and reliability in order to obtain results that are in accordance with the facts. Next, the data analysis technique is carried out using classical assumption tests, namely the normality test, heteroscedasticity test, and multicollinearity test as regression test requirements for hypothesis testing. The hypothesis test used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research show that work competency and work motivation simultaneously influence employee performance. Partially, work competency has a significant positive effect on employee performance, while work motivation partially has no significant effect on employee performance. Work competency has the most dominant influence on employee performance.

The Impact of Work Motivation and Engagement on the Productivity: Case Study at Consumer Loan Account Officer

Consumer credit has emerged as the type of credit that leads most banks in Indonesia, including Bank Batara, which has made consumer credit the first pillar of its credit operation. However, taking into account the situations that have come about in the recent few periods, the quantity of consumer loan disbursement at Bank Batara genuinely reveals a minor average benefit in distribution compared to rival banks, despite the fact that the characteristics and credit terms offered remain largely the same, which suggests the differences in productivity issues within consumer credit divisions, particularly account officer productivity at Bank Batara.

The present study seeks to evaluate the effect of job motivation and employee engagement on employee work productivity. This study makes use of linear analytic methodologies to verify the hypothesis given. The findings gathered suggest that all variables are in dire straits. Partially, job motivation and employee engagement have a favourable and profound effect on employee work productivity. Likewise, simultaneously, job motivation and employee engagement have an enormous impact on employee work productivity.

The Impact of Perceived Organizational Support on Employee Motivation in Indonesia Technology Startup Companies Post Pandemic Covid 19

Covid 19 poses significant challenges for Indonesian technology start-ups. Beginning with shifts in work modes, unstable global conditions, and geopolitics. This has caused many businesses to lay off employees, which can negatively impact employee motivation and perceptions of the organization. Perceived organizational support and motivation are crucial factors to consider in this circumstance, as the startup industry in Indonesia is rapidly growing and positively impacting the economy. This study presents an overview of the current state of perceived organizational support, autonomous motivation, and controlled motivation among employees of technology startups. It also investigates the effect of perceived organizational support on autonomous and controlled motivation among employees in Indonesian technology startups, which can be beneficial knowledge for startup practitioners. This study’s respondents involve 279 employees from Indonesian technology startups. Its analysis employs a simple linear regression method. The findings show that among employees at technology startups, perceived organizational support significantly affects autonomous motivation but has no significant effect on controlled motivation.

The Influence of Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance at the Labuhan Batu District Education Office with Work Discipline as Intervening Variables

Human resources are very important for companies or government agencies in managing, organizing, and utilizing employees, so that they can function productively to achieve the goals of the company or government institution. Human resources in companies or government institutions need to be managed professionally in order to realize a balance between the needs of employees and the demands and capabilities of the company’s organization. This study aims to determine whether work motivation and work environment affect employee performance through work discipline as an intervening variable at the Labuhanbatu District Education Office. The study was conducted on 61 employees using saturated sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used are primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data obtained through documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses quantitative data processed with the SPSS version 25 program, namely t test, sobel test and path analysis. The results obtained in this study show that 1) there is a significant influence between work motivation on work discipline, 2) there is a significant influence between work environment variables on work discipline, 3) there is a significant influence between work motivation variables on performance, 4) there is a significant influence between work environment variables on performance, 5) there is a significant influence between work discipline variables on performance,  6) work discipline variables cannot affect work motivation variables to performance, 7) work discipline variables cannot affect work environment variables to performance.

The Effect of Employee Engagement and Career Development on Employee Performance Mediated By Work Motivation At Large Center for Training and Empowerment of Village Communities, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Yogyakarta

The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of employee engagement and career development on employees mediated by work motivation at training centers and empowerment of rural communities, disadvantaged areas and transmigration in Yogyakarta. This study was applied to 55 respondents who are civil servants at the training and empowerment center for rural communities, disadvantaged areas and transmigration in Yogyakarta. In this study, all samples, namely Civil Servants, were used as respondents, so the sampling technique used was Census. “Tests in this study were carried out using the SmartPLS 3.3.3 software. And the research results are as follows: (1) Employee Engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) Career Development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
