The Relationship between Transformational Leadership Style, Work Motivation and Work Performance of Civil Servants at the People’s Committee of Cam Lam District

The study was conducted to test the relationship between leadership style, work motivation and work performance of civil servants at the People’s Committee of Cam Lam district. Thereby, the topic aims to contribute to building a transformational leadership style, increasing work motivation and work efficiency of civil servants at the People’s Committee of Cam Lam district. The thesis uses qualitative research methods combined with quantitative research. The study shows the positive relationship between the transformational leadership style factors, work motivation and work efficiency. Transformational leadership style has a positive impact on work motivation and work performance, and work motivation also has a positive impact on work performance. Work motivation plays a part as a mediator between transformational leadership styles and performance. The research results are meaningful to help leaders of Cam Lam District People’s Committee improve their transformational leadership style, increase work motivation to bring about work efficiency. The study gives some managerial implications and limitations of the topic and directions for further research.

Principal’s Transformational Leadership in Education Era 4.0: A Literature Review

This article aims to find out how the principal’s transformational leadership style improves teacher performance in the 4.0 education era. This study uses a literature review method by examining national and international journal articles on Google Scholar. The results of the literature review show that the principal’s leadership style has a significant influence on teacher performance. The influence of the principal’s transformational leadership in improving teacher performance in the 4.0 education era can be indicated from the following indicators: 1) principals foster self-confidence, motivation and high expectations to achieve a vision of the future together, 2) principals set an example in school attendance , 3) principals become inspiration for school members in improving competence, self-development, and performance, 4) principals become leaders who provide knowledge and ways of thinking in finding information technology-based learning development strategies.

Do the Transformation Leadership Style have a Massive Influence on Teacher Job Satisfaction?

In school organizations, principals and teachers have a very important role. This study aims to determine the effect of the principal’s transformational leadership style on teacher job satisfaction. The population in this study was a junior high school teacher in Lampung province, Indonesia. The research sample was determined randomly. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed to teachers. Data were analyzed using normality, homogeneity, simple linear regression and T-test. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the transformational leadership style does not affect teacher job satisfaction with a 95% confidence level. Then, based on the results of the T-test, there was no difference in the satisfaction of teacher job between male and female teachers.
