Building Learning and Leadership Ecosystem Using Knowledge Management Perspectives in PT Tri Satya Jaya

The research titled “Building a Learning and Leadership Ecosystem Using a Knowledge Management Perspective at PT Tri Satya Jaya” this research addresses significant challenges the company faces, particularly in performance decline and ineffective employee collaboration. The quantitative component involved administering a questionnaire called the Learning Organization Survey, modeled after Garvin et al. (2008), to assess the organization’s learning depth, while the qualitative aspect comprises interviews with directors to gain deeper insights into performance-related issues. The research used the tree analysis method to determine the root causes of the decline in company performance. Additionally, the study highlights that organizational culture plays a crucial role in influencing employee performance. A culture that does not prioritize knowledge sharing and continuous learning can lead to stagnation and inefficiencies, ultimately affecting the company’s competitiveness in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector.

A well-designed KM (knowledge management) Framework can facilitate the sharing and retention of knowledge. The study proposes strategies that leverage the SECI (socialization, externalization, combination and internalization) model to create a robust knowledge-sharing environment within the organization, by implementing the SECI model. The SECI model emphasizes the importance of social interactions in knowledge sharing, encouraging employees to collaborate and learn from one another. This research develops a detailed implementation timeline to ensure the effective integration of these KM strategies into PT Tri Satya Jaya’s operations. The timeline is structured in four key stages: the first is KM Preparation for Internal Company, the second is Designing Guidelines and Curriculum, the third is KM System Implementation, and the fourth is the KM System Evaluation.

The research concludes that investing in human capital and adopting effective leadership practices are essential for driving organizational success and competitiveness in the EPC sector. By establishing a robust learning and leadership ecosystem, PT Tri Satya Jaya can overcome its challenges and achieve sustainable growth. The recommendations that this research offers are as follows:  establishing a knowledge management team, investing in leadership development, creating structured mentoring programs, enhancing human capital investment, utilizing technology for knowledge management, and establishing performance tracking mechanisms.

Perspectives of Teaching and Evaluation in Mathematics

Mathematics as a subject is quite unique in its processes and teaching in that it requires the least amount of memorization. Aside from the numbers and the functions of the operators themselves, not much needs to be memorized to do mathematics. This study is a review on all the different approaches of teaching the subject given by some famous educationists such as Bruner, Piaget, Vygotsky and Dewey in the past. Furthermore, various assessment methods for the subject have been discussed.

Bibliometric Analysis: Research Trends in Creative Thinking Behavior in Learning

The ability to think outside the box, create something that has never existed before, and apply knowledge and skills creatively and inventively. Effective learning activities require a balance between several aspects, namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Creative thinking behavior is a manifestation of creativity, and creativity refers to the ability to generate new, unique ideas. Related to the importance of behavior on creative thinking, it is necessary to analyze the extent of the development of research on creative thinking behavior. Bibliometric analysis using Publish of Perish (PoP) and VOSviewer for the last 10 years (2014-2023) keyword “creative thinking behavior. The analysis took from the google scholar and scopus databases. Bibliometric analysis is a technique that is realized in 2 categories, namely performance analysis and science mapping. The results of the analysis are stored in a small database used in this study. Since this research only uses Google Scholar and Scopus databases, the research methodology of thinking behavior is also limited. The research results can be expanded by using alternative databases and keyword searches. This study may be useful for future researchers who want to investigate creative thinking behavior.

Development of Biological Science Learning Modules for Class VII SMPN 21 Palu

The instructional resources employed in the educational process at SMP Negeri 21 Palu consisted of teacher’s handbooks and students’ books. Nevertheless, the efficacy of the learning process has been lacking. The students’ learning outcomes were found to be low, particularly in the field of Science, as indicated by the researchers’ observations. The results revealed that the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) for Science was 65. Approximately 55% of the pupils in the class attained standard scores. The utilization of students’ textbooks necessitated the provision of explanations and a teacher’s guide. However, due to time constraints, the students’ learning process was hindered, resulting in instructors being unable to offer optimal explanations and guidance to the students. Therefore, it encompasses the development of novel instructional resources that learners may effectively utilize. One of the available options for students to utilize is the renewal of modules. Science modules have the potential to foster home-based learning among students due to the inclusion of supplementary resources, such as student guides, that facilitate the study of the module content.

Mysterious Card Box: Analysis of Creative Thinking Skills in Elementary School Thematic Learning

The use of media in learning is very urgent. Thematic learning students are required to have the ability to think creatively and complexly. This study aims to determine the use of media in thematic learning to foster students’ creative thinking skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive method which was conducted in three schools involving teachers and fifth grade elementary school students as respondents. Data collection instruments used questionnaires, interviews and observations by providing questions and questionnaires regarding the use of media in thematic learning. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that the lack of use of media in thematic learning. Learners can cultivate creative thinking skills by using alternative media in learning. Mysterious card box media is one of the media that can be used to foster students’ creative thinking skills in thematic learning.
