Technology development is increasing, marked by the increasing internet use in society. In addition, with technological advances, now many people shop for their needs through marketplaces. This study aims to describe the implementation of Fintech in Indonesia as a process of facing the digital era and quickly capturing opportunities in developing product market share. The type of research that researchers use is field research with qualitative descriptive methods. This research shows that technology services can make it easier for customers to carry out various transactions. It is proven by the number of users of the data sharia service feature who activate the service. From several acknowledgments of customers who use the data Sharia peer-to-peer lending feature, they feel accommodating with it without the sin of usury—the implementation of Sharia financial services carried out by corporate follows Islamic principles and achieves to make it easier for customers.

Marketing Strategy to Increase Brand Awareness: A Study Case on Digital Loan Application

Indonesia’s fintech industry has continued to experience rapid growth and will emerge as a key participant in the country’s financial sector by 2022-2023. Fintech is an abbreviation for financial technology, which refers to the use of technology to improve the efficacy of financial systems and provide financial services. Indonesia is an ideal environment for the growth of fintech companies due to its large population and swiftly expanding middle class. The widespread adoption of smartphones and internet access has contributed to the expansion of fintech in the nation. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has implemented measures to promote innovation, safeguard consumers, and maintain financial stability. These rules have facilitated the operation of fintech firms and attracted investment. In Indonesia, mobile payment solutions are one of the fastest-growing areas of fintech. In banking industries, technology is beginning to transform the banking process from traditional banking to digital banking, in which consumers must deliver through innovative technologies such as mobile and internet banking (Abbasi & Weigand, 2017). This issue may be remedied by the emergence of fintech lending. This was bolstered by the high mobile subscription and internet penetration rates relative to Indonesia’s population, which subsequently presented a tremendous opportunity for fintech lending platforms.

The Effect of Financial Technology, Financial Literacy, and Financial Behavior on Investment Decisions in the Capital Market in Investors during the Post-Covid-19 Pandemic

This study aims to examine the effect of financial technology, financial literacy, and financial behavior on an investor’s investment decisions. The sample in this study is someone who has invested in the capital market at least once and lives in the city of Jakarta. The sample was taken using purposive sampling and obtained from 180 respondents. Data analysis uses SmartPLS3 through an outer, inner model, and hypothesis testing. The external and internal models show the results of all valid research instruments, and reliable and appropriate models are used to explain the dependent variable. The results show that financial technology, financial literacy, and financial behavior positively and significantly impact investment decisions.

Proposed Business Strategy for PERUMDA BPR Bank Sumedang to Face Digital Banking Transformation

The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty, which can threaten a bank’s ability and capacity to achieve its objectives. The development of digital technology during the COVID-19 period brought a shift in the behavior of people who tend to spend a lot of time using cellphones in cyberspace, including accessing all banking products, whether making transactions, saving or borrowing. This condition is a challenge for BPR in Indonesia including Perumda BPR Bank Sumedang to follow the wave of change towards digitalization that is happening in the banking industry.  Furthermore, the challenges that are being faced by Bank Sumedang due to the disruption of financial technology is the decline in credit customers every year.

The decline was very significant within a period of 4 years, while the biggest profit of Bank Sumedang was obtained from interest on customer loans. The methodology used is descriptive research using primary data (in-depth interviews and surveys) and secondary data via internet resources. This research is descriptive to explore the problems that exist in Sumedang Bank by analyzing the internal and external factors of the company.  Furthermore, the tools that will be used in chapter four are SWOT, EFAS, IFAS, SFAS and TOWS Matrix. Based on the result that has been formulated, the author will use WO strategy because it has the highest score by Capitalizing on Opportunities to Reduce Weaknesses.
