Optimizing Employee Performance at Karanganyar Regional Bank: A Study on the Influence of Personal Competence, Work Commitment, Emotional Intelligence, and Supervision Systems

Study to investigate impact personal competence, work commitment, emotional intelligence, and supervision on employee performance. A quantitative survey with 93 sample. Primary data was gathered through questionnaires, which were the main data collection instrument, supported by observational methods. The data quality test confirmed that the data was both valid and reliable. Classical assumption testing indicated that the regression model met the assumptions of normality, and showed no signs of multicollinearity or heteroscedasticity. The findings reveal that each of the independent variables—personal competence, work commitment, emotional intelligence, and supervision—individually exerts a significant positive influence to performance employee at Regional Bank Karanganyar. Collectively, these variables also demonstrate a significant and positive effect. The model explains approximately 50.9% of the variance in employee performance, suggesting that these factors play a considerable role in enhancing work outcomes.

Non-Technical Engineering Skills in Technical Vocational Education: Literature Review and Systematization the Non-Tech Skills in Congruence with the Professional Field with Some Examples

The article reviews and emphasizes the significance of non-technical skills in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) to improve the employability of graduates. It identifies communication, problem-solving, teamwork, self-management, and adaptability as crucial competencies that are integral to technical field programs, rather than as supplementary parergon skills in the technical field programs. The post-pandemic landscape, local war conflicts has heightened intensively the importance of emotional intelligence and professionalism in the workplace. Employers prioritize these transferable skills alongside technical abilities when achieving quality standards and measure efficiency. The article advocates for integrating non-technical skills into the curricula of TVET institutions in broad a scale thus enhancing and transforming educational methods, and assessments to better prepare students for competitive and changing industries. It also highlights the relevance of Professional Ethics in engineering education, suggesting that ethical considerations should be woven into academic programs.

The Influence of Emotional Intelligence, Professionalism, and Individual Characteristics on the Performance of Employees of the Investment Agency, Integrated One-Stop Service, Trans-­Migration, and Labor in the Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province

This study aims to examine the influence of Emotional Intelligence, Professionalism, and Individual Characteristics on the Performance of Employees of the Investment Agency, Integrated One-Stop Service, Trans­-Migration, and Labor in the Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The population in this study consists of employees of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency, Transmigration, and Labor Office in Balangan Regency, totaling 109 individuals. The sampling method used in this research is the census method. The selection of the census method in this study is based on the consideration that all employees of the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Agency, Transmigration, and Labor Office in Balangan Regency amount to 109 individuals. Therefore, the entire population is used as the sample. The data analysis used in this research is multiple linear regression with statistical tools facilitated by the IBM SPSS v.21 program. The results of this study indicate that Emotional Intelligence, Professionalism, and Individual Characteristics have an influence on Performance of Employees of the Investment Agency, Integrated One-Stop Service, Trans­-Migration, and Labor in the Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The Individual Characteristics variable has a dominant influence on the on Performance of Employees of the Investment Agency, Integrated One-Stop Service, Trans­-Migration, and Labor in the Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan Province.

Effect of Principal’s Emotional Intelligence Management on Principal’s Leadership Quality: A Literature Review

Emotional intelligence management skills offer leadership qualities that are sufficient to advance an organization and to achieve its goals. Therefore, the skills to manage emotional intelligence must be possessed by a leader, including principal. The importance of emotional intelligence management for principal’s leadership attracts researchers to do a literature review study. There are several articles that discuss the principal’s emotional intelligence management. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effect of emotional intelligence management on the quality of school principal’s leadership in the world. Based on the results of literature reviews from various countries in the world, most of the studies show that emotional intelligence management has a positive and significant influence on the quality of principal’s leadership.
