Envisioning the Future: A Quantitative Analysis of Architecture Students’ Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence Integration in Architectural Design across Region III, IV-A, and NCR, Philippines

In an era characterized by modernization and technological advancements, the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) has brought changes to the different processes of various industries, including the field of architecture. To address concerns and present the views of those in the industry, this research aims to identify and describe the perceptions of Architecture students from various universities/colleges towards adopting AI in Architectural Design through descriptive-correlational research. As well as to discover the students’ acceptance level in adopting artificial intelligence in academic curriculum. Forty-five (45) university/college students enrolled in an Architecture program across diverse institutions drawn from a purposive sampling method answered a survey questionnaire containing Twenty (20) questions answerable by a 5-point Likert Scale. The results revealed that the students’ perceptions were neutral regarding adopting artificial intelligence in academic curriculum and future employment and careers. The correlational analysis suggested that the relationship between the perception of AI in architecture and its impact on career and employment was weak as they saw the potential threat of AI in future employment opportunities. The researchers recommended the results of this study for future research when gathering data related to artificial intelligence, the perception of the students, and the development of AI on how to improve and recognize the limitations of its use.

Effectiveness of Android-Based Application (Nosting) for Early Detection of Stunting and Growth and Development Screening in Children Aged 12-24 Months

In general, data from height and weight measurements are manually entered into a growth chart, where this process takes time and can result in stunting cases being missed during the data entry process. Therefore, an early detection system was developed by utilizing the sophistication of Android which is currently widely used by the community. The purpose of this research is to build an innovative application for early detection of stunting and growth and development screening in children aged 12-24 months so that it can make it easier to monitor their growth and development based on Z-Score and KPSP. This research method is R&D. The research model used is ADDIE. This study used 43 respondents and 3 expert respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of the study based on the assessment of 3 experts get a value of 79.67% with a category worth using and based on a small scale trial on 43 respondents on the assessment of the effectiveness of the application getting a value of 89% so that it can be categorized as very effective. It can be concluded that the application of early detection of stunting and growth and development screening is feasible and very effective to use.

Streamlining Administrative Tasks in Old Age Homes: An Android Application for Efficient Management

This paper aims to give a participatory evaluation of a real application that was put into action in a free-standing senior community. Residents assisted the research team in developing and implementing the first stage of a project that was created to help old people in place and maintain functional independence by using the participatory assessment process. We selected some NGO’s, all of whom gave us the go-ahead to set up the application. The data were generally well received by the locals, who did not feel that they interfered with their daily lives. There were three stages to the adoption and acceptance of the sensors: familiarisation, adaptation and curiosity, and full integration.
