Digital Marketing Strategy to Attract New Customer for Dental Clinic (Case Study: Bandung Dental Center)

Recently, there has been a growing interest in online marketing within the healthcare industry, including dental care. Utilizing the internet and social media platforms has become crucial for reaching the target audience effectively. While positive word-of-mouth remains significant for dental clinics, having a strong online presence and an appealing website can greatly contribute to attracting new patients. Bandung Dental Centre aims to enhance its services and compete with other clinics through digital marketing. The general manager of Bandung Dental Centre expressed dissatisfaction with the clinic’s performance, observing a decline in the number of patients which has resulted in stagnant revenue growth. The author conducted a survey among 52 customers to evaluate the influence of the internet and social media on their decision to visit dental clinics. The survey results highlight customer service as the most influential variable, while the clinic’s reputation and dentists had a negative impact on customers. Therefore, these aspects require evaluation and improvement. The author provides recommendations to enhance Bandung Dental Centre’s digital marketing strategy, including Instagram Optimization, SEO improvement, Google Maps optimization, and the possibility of hiring a digital marketing agency. Furthermore, an implementation plan was developed to guide BDC staff in executing these strategies, even without a specific budget for hiring a digital marketing agency.

Proposed Marketing Strategies for Brush and Palette Coffee to Increase Sales

The F&B market in Indonesia, including coffee shops such as Brush and Palette, has experienced significant growth due to increased consumption in Indonesia. With increasing consumption in the F&B industry, there is a target market for coffee shops. From interviews with the owner of Brush and Palette, it was revealed that sales were stagnant and below target which raised concerns about revenue stability and sustainable growth. By focusing marketing efforts on promoting and eliciting purchase intent, Brush and Palette can strategize to increase sales and align with customer preferences. Further research is needed to refine market segmentation and develop more precise targeting strategies. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence and increase sales of Brush and Palette. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive statistics. The sample for this study consisted of 200 respondents who were taken using the non-probability sampling method. The questionnaire will use a Likert scale with five levels, which represent the scale intervals. Questionnaires will be distributed online. The research tool used in this research is a questionnaire. Data analysis methods are divided into two, namely internal analysis (7Ps of the marketing mix and STP) and external analysis (PESTEL Analysis, Porter’s Five Forces Analysis, Competitor Analysis, and Customer Analysis). Then, the data were analyzed using SWOT and TOWS analysis.

Based on the research results, companies must carry out effective promotional activities so that they can easily attract potential or existing customers to buy or repurchase Brush and Palette products. Affordable prices and quality products can attract consumers to buy Brush and Palette products. Brand awareness of buyers must be increased by Brush and Palette because it has a positive effect on purchase intentions. Several strategies that can be implemented in Brush and Palette are utilizing strategic locations and interior design to attract new customers and increase menu choices and facilities to strengthen their competitive position through these strategies.

Financing of the Agricultural Business by Sharia Bank to Increase the Exchange Rate of Farmers in West Java Province

This study aims to analyze the relationship between Islamic bank financing in agricultural businesses and farmer exchange rates in West Java Province between 2017 and 2021. The dependent variable of this study is farmer exchange rates, while the independent variable is total amount financing. , non-emerging financing (NPF), and the BI rate. This study uses a quantitative approach using secondary data from Islamic banks and other reliable sources. The data used covers five years, i.e., 2017-2021. The analytical method used is statistical regression which measures the effect of independent variables on farmers’ exchange rates. The research results should lead to a better understanding of the impact of Islamic bank financing on agricultural businesses on farmers’ exchange rates in West Java province during the study period. In addition, this study aimed to determine the effect of the funding level, non-current finance (NPF), and BI rate variables on farmers’ rates. The results of this study are expected to help Islamic banks and local governments formulate more effective policies to increase farming financing and farmer exchange rates in West Java Province. In addition, this research can also contribute to the development of literature on agribusiness financing and the role of Islamic banks in the agricultural sector.

Information Technology Usage in Skin Disease Detection

Millions of individuals of all ages are affected by skin diseases, a widespread problem worldwide. Early diagnosis and detection are essential for these diseases to be effectively treated and improve patient outcomes. Automated skin disease detection systems are a viable way to increase diagnostic accuracy and lighten the workload of dermatologists, by developments in machine learning and computer vision. These systems examine skin lesions and categorize them into several disease groups using various techniques, including feature extraction, deep learning, and image processing. Such systems are still being developed to enhance their precision and usefulness. This paper provides an overview of the different information technologies in skin disease detection, including their effectiveness, the challenges and limitations of existing systems, and future research directions in this field.

The Differences between Murabahah and Musharakah Muatanaqisah Contract Payments Using the Time Value of Money Method (Study Case: PT Sarana Perumahan Mandiri)

Indonesia’s population is expected to grow by 68% by 2050, with the government aiming to improve living conditions and promote economic expansion. The Million Homes Program will determine the nation’s future. Islamic banks offer mortgage financing options, including Musharakah, Murabahah, and Ijarah contracts. These contracts require a thorough risk assessment and understanding of each party’s responsibilities. The study aims to determine the ideal contract for Islamic bank mortgages, allowing developers to advise clients on their use before purchasing subsidized homes. The authors used contracts called Murabahah and Musharakah to calculate financing, but found that the equivalent rates on each contract varied, raising concerns about the amount of finance developers and buyers need to provide. The Time Value of Money technique was employed to calculate the cost difference between the Murabaha and Musharakah contracts. The results suggest that customers may choose Bank Syariah B or Bank Syariah A based on lower equivalent rates and stability. With a margin of 67.79% in the Musharakah contract, Bank Syariah B can be chosen with an equivalent rate of 7.5% for the first 13 years, 10.1% on the 14th year, and then falling back to 10.1% on the 15th year.

Mysterious Card Box: Analysis of Creative Thinking Skills in Elementary School Thematic Learning

The use of media in learning is very urgent. Thematic learning students are required to have the ability to think creatively and complexly. This study aims to determine the use of media in thematic learning to foster students’ creative thinking skills. This study used a qualitative descriptive method which was conducted in three schools involving teachers and fifth grade elementary school students as respondents. Data collection instruments used questionnaires, interviews and observations by providing questions and questionnaires regarding the use of media in thematic learning. The results of data analysis in this study indicate that the lack of use of media in thematic learning. Learners can cultivate creative thinking skills by using alternative media in learning. Mysterious card box media is one of the media that can be used to foster students’ creative thinking skills in thematic learning.

Modifying Think-Pair-Share based on Suggestopedia Principles to Teach Speaking

Every teaching method has their own disadvantages, but if they are integrated, it will make a great solution. This current research aims to intently find out the significant difference in the speaking achievement of the students who are taught through the modified think-pair-share based on suggestopedia and those who are taught through the original think-pair-share. This is a quasi-experimental research design that conducts a quantitative method. Subjects of this research are two classes of SMK N 3 Bandar Lampung. The finding shows that there is a significant difference in the increase of the score of experimental and control class after the students are taught through the methods. The t-value is 2.687 at the significant level of  0.009 which is lower than 0.05. Hence, it is concluded that applying the method of the modified think-pair-share based on suggestopedia principles can increase the students’ speaking achievement.

Transforming NGO Projects into Social Enterprise

Introduction: Non-Government Organization (NGO) is Non-Profit Organization founded to create social impact without looking for profit. NGOs are generally funded through charitable donations, however, many of those sources of funds have dried up. For sustainability, NGOs need to find ways to enhance their sustainability, diversify their income source and become less dependent on donors. This research will study Global Peace Foundation Indonesia using Gap Analysis to find how to transform an NGO into a Social Enterprise and the innovation of the business model needed.

Literature Review: This research benchmarks Fowler’s steps of social enterprise, Ann Mei Chang’s hybrid organization, and Burkett’s social business model.

Research Methodology: This research collects primary and secondary data through interviews, FGD, and desk research. The data obtained data from the collection methods will be processed and analyzed with a qualitative approach: logic model, PESTEL Analysis, and SWOT Analysis.

Result and Discussion: From the logic model of Global Peace Foundation Indonesia, can be seen that some projects can potentially be transformed into a social enterprise, and the nearest industry to those projects are Tourism Industry. Continuing the logic model analysis, PESTEL Analysis was done, and the result showed some positive opportunity in the tourism industry that relate to what Global Peace Foundation Indonesia value. As there’s a positive opportunity, SWOT Analysis was used to find the strategies to implement. Those Analyses were used to produce the Value Proposition Canvas and Social Business Model of Global Peace Foundation Indonesia.

Conclusion and Recommendation: Fowler’s steps of Social Enterprise are slightly different from the transforming steps of Global Peace Foundation Indonesia. This research can be used by other field affiliates of the Global Peace Foundation and other NGOs who want to transform into social enterprises too. Future research can focus on the assigning human resource and leadership to the transformation process.

Scriptural Theology in the Shaivasogata Religion in Bali

 Script for the Balinese people is not just a symbol of sound, but is considered a symbol of the birth of knowledge which is commemorated as Saraswati day. Deeper than that, the script is a symbol of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and His manifestation. This study aims to reveal the theology of script in the Saiwasogata religion in Bali. The research data was collected through literature study, and analyzed by symbol theory. The result of this research is the script used to represent Saiwasogata theology in Bali. These scripts include the Pre-Nagari script and Pallawa script derivatives, namely Old Bali and New Balinese script. Currently, the New Balinese script is used more to represent Saiwasogata theology, classified into Wréastra, Swalalita, and Modré scripts. Based on the results of the analysis it can be stated that the script is used as a symbol to express the concept of divinity and the religious teachings of Shiwa and Buddha. In the Kasogatan religion in Bali, it is used to express the Tathāgata concept, using sacred scripts from éka scripts to Buddhist tenets and mantras that explain the Buddha as the true truth. The Buddha through his dharma advised that humans try to defeat māra and try to reach nirwana. In the Shiwaist religion, the script is also used as a symbol of God, including manifestations. This script is used as a medium to understand the essence of Shiwa Tattva. This concept is explained using sacred scripts from ékaksara to sodasaksara and mantras that explain Shiwa Tattva, is the philosophy of divinity and the universe. An understanding of Shiwa Tattva is needed so that Atmika Tattva tries to realize his own purity as a spark of God in order to achieve true happiness or moksha.

Exploring Investor Behavior and Decision Making in Alternative Investments

This paper presents a research study focusing on investor behaviour patterns and decision-making processes when selecting investment products and exploring alternative options, P2P lending and gold saving. The study also explores the potential attractiveness of banking as an investment option if banks can offer alternative products that are currently not available within the banking sector through collaborative banking with FinTech companies. By understanding investors’ perspectives and addressing their pain points, companies can propose solutions and develop effective marketing approaches that cater to their needs.

The research methodology employed a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with ten respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using NVivo software. In conclusion, alternative investment products generate enthusiasm among investors as they offer convenience in managing their portfolios in one banking platform. Banking is perceived as the safest place to put the money compared to other investment platform. However, for banks to successfully cater to customer needs, it is crucial for banks to provide a user-friendly interface, performance review that allows for daily monitoring of investments, clear product info and tutorials, as well as protection for high-risk products like P2P lending.
