The Influence of Interactivity and Ephemerality of Instagram Advertisements in Shaping Perceived Value and Behavioral Intention

Instagram stands out as a prominent platform, offering companies a valuable space to promote their offerings to a vast and diverse audience. To capture consumer interest, Instagram advertisements now incorporate innovative interactive features and ephemeral effects, enhancing their appeal and engagement. The objective of this study is to examine the influence of interactivity and ephemerality of instagram advertisements in shaping perceived value and behavioral intention. A quantitative research approach was employed in this study. Data from 239 participants were gathered through an online survey and analyzed utilizing SmartPLS 3.2.9 software employing Structural Equation Modeling. The findings indicate that the interactivity and ephemerality of Instagram Stories advertisements significantly influence three types of perceived value such as utilitarian, hedonic, and social value among female consumers of the fashion brand HeyLocal. Furthermore, these perceived values motivate positive behavioral intentions such as the intention towards social media activities, online search, and brand purchase. In contrast to social value, it was found that utilitarian and hedonic value do not directly impact brand purchase. In addition, our research revealed that consumers’ purchase decisions can be reinforced through their engagement in social media activities and online information search.

The Effect of Social Media Marketing Activities on Brand Loyalty and Willingness to Pay Premium Price: Brand Equity as Intervening Variable and Income Level as Moderating Variable

Currently, the Indonesian society cannot be separated from the need for the internet, which serves various purposes to facilitate their daily activities. The internet is used for accessing information, communication, education, entertainment, as well as business needs. By the end of 2022, the internet was predominantly used for exploring social media and streaming video. One of the companies that provides video-on-demand (VOD) streaming services popular among the Indonesian population is Viu. Viu utilizes marketing activities through social media, including on TikTok. This study intends to investigate the influence of social media marketing activities (SMMAs) on brand loyalty (BL) and willingness to pay premium price (WPP), with brand equity in terms brand awareness (BA) and brand image (BI) as a mediating factors and income level as a moderating factor. The research adopts a quantitative method with a causal approach. The population for this study comprises all followers of Viu’s TikTok account and Viu users. Purposive sampling, a sample selection technique based on specific considerations, is employed. Data collection is conducted through online questionnaires via google form. The data analysis technique utilized in this study is SEM-PLS using SmartPLS 3.2.9. The research findings indicate that SMMAs have a positive and significant influence on brand awareness and brand image. Brand awareness does not affect brand loyalty and willingness to pay premium price. However, brand image has a positive and significant influence on brand loyalty and willingness to pay premium price. Brand loyalty has a positive and significant influence on willingness to pay premium price. Brand awareness does not mediate the relationship between SMMAs and consumer willingness to pay a premium price, but brand image mediates this relationship. Furthermore, income level strengthens the relationship between brand loyalty and willingness to pay premium price.

PT. Docil Berkah Abadi is a retailer that offers motorcycle accessories, primarily windshields, via e-commerce, resellers, distributors, and an offline store. Additionally, subsidiary companies sell additional varieties of accessories. Mission of this organization is to dominate the market for motorcycle accessories in Indonesia and to innovate our products via subsidiary companies. PT. Docil Berkah Abadi has serious problems in its business process because the previously running business processes are not effective and result in too large fixed costs incurred by PT.Docil berkah Abadi This is the time from the beginning of the order acceptance until the goods are sold too long. The number of employees who have been discharged does not correspond to the salary costs already incurred by PT. Docil Berkah Abadi This is a very expensive rental because you have to store a lot of stock.

The aim of this study is to improve business processes by understanding the roots of the problem with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and improve the business process with Business Process Improvement. (BPI). The author uses five whys on Root Cause Analysis (RCA) analysis and performs identification on business early processes, and improves business by streamlining with Bureaucracy Elimination and Upgrading.

This study was conducted using qualitative methods. The researchers conducted in-depth interviews with several divisions of the company to gain insight into the business processes of the enterprise. The results of the interviews showed that the business processes used by the company are still less accurate. Using interview insights, the researchers built a new process business using flowchart.

Social Media Utilizations in SMEs Context: Review Paper

Numerous comprehensive investigations have been carried out regarding social media usage, yet the factors driving its adoption within organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), remain unclear. Specifically, internal, and external social media usage. Previous studies have predominantly concentrated on individuals or the use of social media by large corporations. As a response, the present review seeks to provide an encompassing perspective on the utilization of social media and its advantages for SMEs. It systematically combs through pertinent research articles on the integration of social media within SMEs, drawing from reputable databases like Web of Science and Scopus. This search employs specific keywords such as (“social media” OR “Facebook” OR “Twitter” OR “Instagram” OR “social networking sites” OR “External social media” OR ” Internal social media”) AND (entrepreneur* OR “SME” OR “small business” OR “small and medium”). The ensuing articles scrutinized in this review delve into the subsequent aspects: (1) the objectives driving social media employment in SMEs, (2) the publication year, (3) authors’ nationalities, (4) publishing journals, and (5) how the present research enriches the existing literature by furnishing an exhaustive assessment of viable options and pinpointing gaps in research. Consequently, this exploration offers researchers and innovators enticing prospects to cultivate new strategic implementations by extensively examining the significance of social media and its multifaceted advantages across various dimensions of SMEs.

Evolution History of Chinese Han Nationality Reflect Great Integration of Chinese Nation

Based on the importance, necessity and feasibility of the great integration of Chinese Nation, this paper expounds the concept and origin of Nation. On this basis, the origin of the Han Nationality, the evolution of the Han Nationality carried on the historical retrospection and the historical context, the evolution of the Han Nationality was elaborated in detail. The evolution characteristics of the Han Nationality are analyzed in detail, pointing out that the Han Nationality originated from the Huaxia Nationality, dating back to the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River during the period of Three Emperors and five emperors. According to the development of time, in the long course of history, the Han Nationality had constantly blended and integrated with the surrounding residents in the process of development. Through detailed analysis, it had been found that the Han nationality and other ethnic minorities in China share the same root, same origin, same ancestor and same lineage, which provides the theoretical basis and practical historical facts for the great integration of the Chinese nation. It provides historical evidence for the feasibility, importance and urgency of the great integration of the Chinese nation.

The Framework of RBL-STEM Learning Activity: Improving Students’ Climate Change Literacy in Solving the Problem on Forecasting the Nutrition Supply of Hydroponic Plants with GNN

This paper aims to develop the learning activity framework for the RBL model integrated with the STEM approach, especially in improving the students’ climate change literacy in solving the problem on forecasting the nutritional supply of hydroponic plants using machine learning of GNN technique. It is using qualitative research which involves some bibliography study and analytical study. The findings are presented in a table containing six stages, namely stages 1-6. Each stage explains how students learn to collect data using IoT software, namely Thingspeak to collect some agriculture data, and by using Python under Google Colab platform we implement Graph Neural Networks (GNN) in RBL-STEM learning model. The main findings of this research related to RBL-STEM learning is to develop the learning activity framework in solving the problem of forecasting the nutritional needs of hydroponic plants using Thingspeak and google colab software to improve students’ climate change literacy described in stages 1-6. This research also included the development of a framework in improving the students’ climate change literacy in solving the problem on forecasting the nutritional supply of hydroponic plants using. The implication of the findings of this study is that the learning activity framework is ready to be continued in the process of developing RBL-STEM teaching materials to improve students’ climate change literacy in solving the problem on forecasting the nutritional needs of hydroponic plants machine learning of GNN technique.

The Development of Social-Emotional Psychology of Students from Broken Home Families at Senior High Schools in Palu City, Indonesia

This study aims to identify and analyze the psychology of social-emotional development of learning Islamic religious education of broken home families to students, then examine the process of approaching Islamic religious education learning of broken home families to students, as well as analysis of learning outcomes of Islamic religious education of the broken home families to students at senior high schools in Palu. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach; the data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, it is technically analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and data verification, and ends with conclusions showing that the psychology of socio-emotional development in broken-home families at senior high schools in Palu shows that the role of Islamic religious teachers can all be handled properly so that students are polite with teachers, responsible for doing assignments, motivated, and obedient to school rules. The learning approach applied to broken home families for senior high schools starts from determining the material to determining learning media sources following the content of the 2013 Curriculum with five forms of approach, namely habituation, psychophysics, rational, dynamic, functional, and exemplary. Then, in analyzing the learning outcomes of students from broken-home families at senior high schools in Palu, there is a difference, but not too much. This is due to social-environmental differences that can psychologically affect learning achievement.

 

Improve Employee Key Performance Indicator through Establishment of High Performing Team Model (Case Study: TNP)

TNP, a company in cargo transportation and logistics, is grappling with challenges such as high employee turnover and struggles to meet performance goals, both on an individual and team level. The company’s turnover rate exceeds its target, and the overall Key Performance Indicator (KPI) achievement by High-Level Management remains below the company’s standard of 80%. This study aims to improve the situation by analysing the current KPI framework. High turnover disrupts operations and suggests employee satisfaction problems, while inconsistent KPI achievement indicates operational inefficiencies. The study utilizes various methods, including interviews with High-Level Management, questionnaires for employees, and analysis of historical performance data. The analysis includes external and internal evaluations, leading to a SWOT analysis, which contributes to the research findings. These findings highlight several areas for enhancement. Proposed solutions involve implementing a High-Performing Team (HPT) model, drawing inspiration from Wageman and Hackman models. This model thrives on collaboration, utilizing collective skills to surpass individual contributions. It emphasizes open communication, knowledge sharing, and complementary skills to address turnover and improve KPI achievement. The study’s significance lies in its potential to guide TNP’s transformation. Through refining the KPI system and addressing underlying concerns, the study aims to provide actionable recommendations. Ultimately, the study suggests that adopting a high-performing team model could bridge existing gaps. By fostering a collaborative culture and implementing team coaching, the company could potentially revolutionize its cargo transportation and logistics services while also improving employee retention.

Classroom Management, Motivation and Academic Performance: The Perspective of Students in Business English Classes at Ba Ria-Vung Tau University

This study applied self-determination theory to understand the roles of teacher’s behavioral control and care in student learning outcomes. The research explored the relationship between components of classroom management and academic performance via the mediating role of motivation to learn of students in Business English classes at Ba Ria – Vung Tau University. By applying qualitative research combined with quantitative research (mixed method), this research tested the relationship between classroom management (teacher behavioral control, teacher care), motivation to learn and academic performance. The research results indicated that teacher behavioral control and teacher care have positive relationships with motivation to learn and academic performance; motivation to learn is positively related to academic performance. In addition, motivation to learn plays a partial mediator role between classroom management and academic performance. Finally, the study proposed some implications for administrators and teachers in improving classroom management to increase the motivation to learn and the academic performance of students in Business English classes at Ba Ria – Vung Tau University.

Improving Reading Comprehension through Context Clues Strategy for the Eleventh Grade Students at Vo Thi Sau High School

The goal of this study is to find out how effective teachers use Context Clues Strategy to improve reading skills for students at a high school in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, Vietnam. The eleventhgrade students at Vo Thi Sau high school were the participants. The research method was classroom action research. The quantitative data was gathered during the tests. According to the results, 11 students (14.6%) passed the Mastery Minimum Criteria on the pre-test, whereas 53 students (70.6%) passed the post-test. The findings showed that student’s performance on the post-test had significantly improved. The comparison between the pre-test score (4.86) and the post-test score (7.41) demonstrated this improvement. As a result, Context Clues Strategy was a useful tool for teaching students reading comprehension. Lastly, some limitations and recommendations for further research are also mentioned.
