Authorship and Contributorship
The International Journal of Current Science Research and Review (IJCSRR) is dedicated to advancing global scientific knowledge through rigorous, interdisciplinary research. Central to this mission is our commitment to transparency and ethical standards in authorship and contributorship, fostering trust and integrity in scholarly publishing.
IJCSRR’s Commitment
IJCSRR upholds the highest ethical standards to ensure clarity in recognizing contributions to published research. Our authorship and contributorship policies promote fairness, accountability, and collaboration, aligning with our goal to maintain the credibility and quality of the scholarly record.
Authorship Eligibility
Authorship in IJCSRR is reserved for individuals who have made significant contributions to the research and its dissemination. To qualify as an author, individuals must meet all of the following criteria:
- Core Contribution: Made substantial contributions to the conception, design, data acquisition, or analysis and interpretation of the research.
- Manuscript Development: Drafted the manuscript or critically revised it for intellectual content and rigor.
- Final Review: Approved the final version of the manuscript prior to submission.
- Responsibility: Assumed accountability for the accuracy and integrity of the work, agreeing to address any questions regarding its content.
Recognizing Contributors
Individuals who contribute to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria should be acknowledged in the manuscript’s Acknowledgements section. Examples of such contributions include:
- Technical or logistical support.
- Administrative or supervisory assistance.
- Securing funding or facilitating data collection.
Corresponding Author Responsibilities
The corresponding author serves as the primary point of contact and is responsible for:
- Verifying that all listed authors meet IJCSRR’s authorship criteria.
- Coordinating communication with the journal during the submission, peer review, and publication processes.
- Ensuring compliance with IJCSRR’s policies, including those outlined in our Author Instructions and Publication Ethics pages.
Collaborative Group Authorship
For large-scale or collaborative research projects, a group may be listed as the author. Individual contributors within the group should be acknowledged in the manuscript, with their specific roles clearly specified to ensure transparency.
Authorship Changes
Any changes to authorship (e.g., additions, removals, or reordering) after submission require written consent from all authors and a detailed rationale submitted to IJCSRR. The editorial team will review such requests to ensure fairness and compliance with ethical standards.
Authorship Dispute Resolution
IJCSRR adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to resolve authorship disputes. The editorial team may request documentation or additional information to ensure equitable and transparent resolution of any conflicts.
Commitment to Ethical Publishing
By submitting to IJCSRR, authors affirm the accuracy of their contributions and commit to upholding the journal’s standards of research integrity and ethical publishing. We encourage authors to familiarize themselves with our policies to ensure a seamless publication process.
