The Effect of Health Education with Audiovisual on Increasing Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices on Maintaining Reproductive Health in Vocational School Adolescent Girls

Reproductive health is one of the most prominent issues in adolescence. Adolescents at this time experience adolescent physical and psychological changes. The cause of this problem is due to the lack knowledge of adolescents about reproductive health. To improve the knowledge of adolescents through reproductive health education. The media used is audiovisual because this media is interesting because it does not only display images or writing, but also with sound so that it is expected to increase knowledge, attitudes, and practices about reproductive health. This study aims to analyze the effect of audiovisual health education on improving adolescents’ knowledge, attitudes, and practices about reproductive health. This research method is a Pretest-Posttest Experiment with a control group. The study population was female adolescents at SMK Era Pembangunan 3, with a sample of 30 people. Sampling was done by random sampling. Data analysis using SPSS with Chi-Square test. Statistically obtained the results of the p-value = 0.000 <0.05. So that there is a significant effect of health education with audiovisual on increasing knowledge, attitudes, and practices about maintaining reproductive health in adolescents.

Stock Valuation of PT. Panca Budi Idaman, Tbk. (PBID) based on Free Cash Flow to the Firm and on Relative Valuation

The stock valuation of PT Panca Budi Idaman, Tbk. (PBID), an Indonesian plastic packaging manufacturer, is evaluated using the absolute and relative valuation. The absolute valuation is based on Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method. In relative valuation, PBID is compared to its peers, which in this study are IPOL, PDPP, and TRST. Indonesia’s significant economic growth and the vital role of the plastic industry are noting strong demand for plastic packaging despite environmental challenges and regulatory pressures. Financial performance from 2017 to 2023 is assessed through profitability, liquidity, and solvency ratios, demonstrating PBID’s efficient operations and robust financial health. Future cash flows are projected, discounted using PBID’s Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC), and the terminal value is calculated. The intrinsic value is estimated at IDR 3,987 per share, indicating undervaluation compared to the current price of IDR 1,325 per share. Relative valuation compares PBID to industry peers using EV/EBITDA, P/E, and P/B ratios, reinforcing the undervaluation finding. Investment recommendations suggest PBID’s stock as a buying opportunity due to its strong market position and favourable valuation metrics.

A City Image Study by Kevin Lynch’s Theoretical Approach: A Case Study of Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province of Indonesia

Pontianak City is the capital city of West Kalimantan Province reaches area coverage of 118.31 km2.This city has multiple functions as the government and economic centrals of the West Kalimantan Province of Indonesia. It is also known as the Equatorial city because it is located on the equator line and by the end of 2023, its population will reach 679.818 people and will become the 26th most populous city in Indonesia. The City of Pontianak located on the equator line with altitude height ranging from 0.1 to 1.5 meters above sea level, and from administrative divisions, Pontianak City consists of several district areas: (a) North Pontianak District, (b) East Pontianak District, (c) South Pontianak District, (d) Southeast Pontianak District, (e) the Pontianak City District, and (f) West Pontianak District, whether from geographical perspective, City of Pontianak is traversed by the longest river in Indonesia, the Kapuas River which has become a life support for the surrounding community. The analytical method applied in this research to study the city image of Pontianak is the triangulation method where it is used to compare information obtained through field observations with theoretical perspectives that have been studied previously. The result found in this article is the City of Pontianak has fulfilled the requirement of 5 elements of city image according to Kevin Lynch’s theory and it has Tugu Khatulistiwa or Equator Monument as a symbol or the icon of Pontianak City.

Strategic Decision-Making: Implementing Artificial Intelligence for Customer Experience in XYZ Electricity

This case study outlines the challenges in resolving customer complaints at XYZ electricity provider, where the industry achieves only 89.16% against a 100% service level agreement, leading to poor customer experience (CX). The objective of this paper is not only to identify the root causes of poor CX and validate artificial intelligence (AI)’s potential role as a solution, but also to pioneer the identification of critical success factors (CSFs) and strategic areas for AI implementation, leveraging computational ratings to enhance decision-making processes. This research employs comprehensive data collection methods, including primary data from interviews and workshops involving 300 participants and secondary data from observation and literature studies. It utilizes an integrative strategy framework (ISF) to strategically synthesize internal and external analyses. Additionally, it ranks critical areas for AI implementation using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based on pairwise judgment and Likert scale surveys from ten experts. The most significant findings reveal that direct impact on customers, at 28.54%, is the strongest CSF, while customer service, 14,63%, is the most impactful implementation of AI in the XYZ to fix poor CX. A pilot project on customer service can improve CX, revenue, and cost savings. The authors suggests that another researcher implement and evaluate AI in various businesses and specific client categories.

Comparing Company Valuation Before and After IPO Study Case PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk

Affordable energy resources of energy play a crucial role in economic and social development to support food production, availability of water supply and sustainable healty lifestyle. In order to avoid long-term scarcity resulting from the continuous use of non-renewable energy sources, we must explore all potential renewable energy source that align with concernes about climate change and other environmental issues. As a continuation of the Indonesian government’s efforts to generate clean and environmental friendly energy, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) was established in 2006. It has contributed 82% of the installed geothermal energy capacity in Indonesia. By leveraging Indonesia’s location within the Ring of Fire as one of the world’s geothermal energy hubs, PGE has been supplying electricity to more than 2 million households in Indonesia with a potential emission reduction of 9.7 million tons of CO2 per year. To achieve sustainable business growth, PGEO is optimizing production in its operational areas by expanding installed capacity. In the company consideration, IPO is an appropriate step to financing the expansion. The author compares the company’s value before and after the IPO to determine the short-term impact of the IPO, helping investors gauge their confidence in making investment decisions in PGEO.

This study utilizes secondary data from prospectuses, financial statements, annual reports, sustainability reports, company-published documents, as well as data from IDX.co.id and IDN Financials.com. The data was collected and analyzed to understand evaluate financial performance, and assess the company’s value before and after the IPO. The calculation of the company’s intrinsic value is conducted using the Discounted Cash Flow Valuation method for the pre-IPO period against the company’s financial projections for the years 2019 to 2022 and for the post-IPO period against the company’s financial projections for the years 2024 to 2028, using discount rates of 8.25% and 8.65% for each. In resulting the intrinsic value pre-IPO is IDR 1.141,28 and the intrinsic value post-IPO is IDR 1.300,86. The stock price of PGEO at its IPO on February 23, 2023, was IDR 875, while the adjusted closing price on December 29, 2023, was IDR 1,170. This study founds that the market price of PGEO’s stock, both before and after the IPO, are overvalued.

Ideal Integration Approaches for Enhancing ASDP Group’s Performance Post-Subsidiary Acquisition

Transportation plays a crucial role in the development of civilizations by enabling the movement of people, goods, and cultural exchanges. Among various transportation modes, water-based transport, especially ferries, is vital for linking communities, boosting trade, and promoting tourism in regions that land or air transport cannot reach. PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), the sole state-owned enterprise managing ferry services in Indonesia, holds a leading position in the national ferry industry. To sustain its dominance, ASDP undertook a corporate action by acquiring a competitor. The acquisition process, dating back to the 1970s, involves stages of strategy formulation, investigation and selection, negotiation, and integration. According to Mroczynski, integration involves merging operations, cultures, and systems to achieve synergies and strategic goals. This study examines the optimal integration approach used by ASDP to enhance group performance post-acquisition. Utilizing a qualitative research method, focus group discussions were conducted with stakeholders from both ASDP and the acquired company. The study applies Pitkethly’s integration framework, which categorizes integration levels from minimal to extensive. Results show that ASDP has established significant financial management control over the acquired company, but gaps still exist between the desired and current conditions. Therefore, a detailed analysis of the targets ASDP needs to achieve to optimize the integration process is crucial for meeting post-acquisition requirements.

Coping Stress Strategies to Reducing Work and Home Demands to Job Burnout Woman Nurses

Work and home demand increasing job burnout for woman nurses.  The important coping stress strategies are to reduce job burnout. This study aimed to determine the relationship between work and home demand to job burnout, and the role of moderator coping stress strategies.  The sample of the study was 157 women nurses recruited through simple random sampling.  Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with partial least squares. The results indicated that work and home demand was positive and significantly related to job burnout. Coping stress strategies is negatively moderated the relationship between work demand to job burnout, but positive moderated the relationship between home demand to job burnout. The implication that coping stress strategies is successful to weaken job burnout caused by work demand, but strengthening job burnout caused by home demand.

Recent Evidence on the Digitalization Process in Indonesia’s Micro and Small Enterprises

The digital transformation process in micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in Indonesia is still a black box, and existing findings regarding digitalization in this business group are still very limited and fragmented. Considering the above background and the important contribution that MSEs can make to the economy and employment opportunities, as well as poverty alleviation in Indonesia, this paper aims to examine the current progress in the transition process from analog/conventional technology to digital technology (DT) in Indonesian MSEs based on the latest secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and primary data collected from online surveys. The finding suggests that although there has been progress in recent years, as demonstrated by the increasing number of MSEs using the internet, Indonesian MSEs still lag in the adoption of digital technology.

Propose Strategic Marketing Initiatives to Accelerate Market Share and Revenue of MEDTECH Company for Trauma Implant Device in Indonesia (Case Study at MEDTECH Company)

Trauma is a critical global health issue, leading to millions of serious injuries and significant fatalities worldwide, particularly from traffic accidents. In Indonesia, traffic accidents were the fifth leading cause of death in 2023, highlighting the urgent need for effective trauma care. Despite the pandemic, the trauma device market in Indonesia experienced growth, with MEDTECH’s portfolio outperforming the market but still underperforming in revenue generation. This research aims to address MEDTECH’s challenges and formulate strategies to enhance its market presence and sales performance.

The study is divided into three phases: identifying core business issues, establishing a theoretical foundation using PESTLE and Porter’s Five Forces, and conducting a SWOT analysis. The PESTEL analysis revealed opportunities such as economic growth and technological advancements, and threats including local content regulations and supply chain issues. The Porter analysis suggests moderate market attractiveness due to competition and innovation needs. The STP analysis identifies key targets, including Tier 1 hospitals for advanced Variable Angle (VA) implants and Tier 2 hospitals for cost-effective Mono Angle (MA) implants. The Marketing Mix analysis highlights the need for product updates, pricing adjustments, expanded distribution, and enhanced promotional activities. To strengthen its position, MEDTECH should focus on immediate product development and market penetration strategies, while also planning for long-term local manufacturing and regulatory compliance to ensure sustainable growth in the Indonesian market.
