Subarachnoid Haemorrhage: A Systematic Review

Subarachnoid haemorrhage arises from the accumulation of blood between the arachnoid and pia mater resulting from an aneurysmal rupture or traumatic head injury. Subarachnoid haemorrhage is a life-threatening emergency that requires prompt treatment. The characteristic presenting symptom is the thunderclap headache, which patients may describe as the “worst headache of life” and may prompt further imaging. Associated symptoms include nausea, vomiting, and diplopia. Often signs of meningismus are present due to the presence of blood in the fourth ventricle and further down the spinal cord, causing neck and back pain. Findings of focal deficit increase the grade of subarachnoid haemorrhage and patients with a high-grade subarachnoid haemorrhage report to the Emergency room in a state of coma requiring evaluation and urgent treatment, as the coma can be reversible. Sometimes concurrent intraocular haemorrhage, known as Terson syndrome may be present warranting an ophthalmology service. Eighty per cent of patients that develop Terson syndrome require regular follow-up visits but may not require further intervention. This activity reviews the evaluation and management of subarachnoid haemorrhage (SAH).

Farmer’s Cooperatives with Farmers’ Economic Morals in Realizing Food Security

Farmers, as rural producers, produce agricultural products for the necessities of life while fulfilling economic needs. Farmers in Sukoharjo, Indonesia, have formed farmer groups, but these farmer groups are not managed mechanically. Therefore, it is necessary to think of a business entity that supports the agricultural production process of harvest and sale to support the improvement of farmers’ lives. The ideal business entity for farmers is a Cooperative business entity with a cooperation system; this resembles the local community’s culture or wisdom. A Cooperative is an association or organization consisting of people or entities that provide freedom of entry and exit as existing members. The regulation of Cooperatives in Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution states that the economy is structured as a joint business based on the principle of kinship, which in carrying out business activities must be in accordance with the type of cooperative based on the similarity of activities and economic interests of its members. Gaining success in agricultural production and improving farmers’ standard of living is part of the Food Security system, in which people’s needs for food can be met in abundance.

With the introduction of Multiloop edgewise archwire therapy, treatment of open bite has started showing efficient results. Moreover, MEAW is versatile as it is capable of correcting various malocclusions as well such as Class II, Class III, deep overbite, and malocclusions with marked midline deviations. Since the advent of the MEAW, its treatment modality has been used worldwide and numerous reports of successful results have been published. Some orthodontists have described the MEAW technique as “magical” or “unbelievable,” but it certainly is not. The diagnosis and treatment plan must be correct and construction of the MEAW must be precise to deliver the necessary forces to move the teeth to an optimal, stable relationship.Hence this article aims to review the multiloop edge wise arch wire technique in detail along with its biomechanics.

Evaluation of Child Friendly School in Building Student Character: A Literature Review

The character crisis is an issue of many countries. For many children, the school is an uncaring environment, that can cause a negative impact in mental health, so we can see the output of school residents is not in a good character. In fact, schools have an important role in the psychosocial development of children. Seeing this fact, UNICEF developed a child-friendly school program to solve the problem. Its also necessary to evaluate the child friendly school programme, then it will be discussed about CIPP model too. The results of the review found that child-friendly schools can be optimal if principals, teachers and education staff, and school committees collaborate well in carrying out their roles in realizing the six principal components of child-friendly schools. Research on this topic is limited and this article is a literature review, so it is necessary to conduct further research using interview and questionnaire methods related to the role of child-friendly schools in building student character.

Rainwater Infiltration Box to Prevent Flood Disaster

Flood disaster is a natural disaster that ranks the third cause of economic loss worldwide. As a tropical country that has a rainy season, every year some parts of Indonesia are prone for being affected by floods. The causative factors include high rainfall and poor surface water management, making rainwater directly converted into surface water (run-off). Efforts to reduce run-off water include making biopores infiltration wells from paralon pipe material with a diameter of 10 centimeters, but because of the small volume, the biopores cannot functioned properly, so it is necessary to build infiltration wells with a larger capacity. The purpose of this research is to make a model of infiltration wells that have a larger volume than stainless steel.
This study used a pre-experimental design and is a development research of biopores infiltration wells. The stages in this research include design validation and absorption function testing.
The results of the study were the design of a box-shaped absorption container with a height of 120 cm. 100 cm wide and 100 cm long, made of 304 stainless steel, with an inlet and outlet holes for rainwater, a bottom absorption area, and has a lid that is easy to open for cleaning. In the function test, it was obtained the ability to accommodate rainwater of 1.2 cubic meters and the ability to absorb water of 0.9 liters per second on the soil of the test location, so that this infiltration box is estimated to be able to accommodate rainfall of 120 mm a day.
The conclusion is that this rainwater absorption container is able to accommodate rainwater while absorbing water so that it can be an alternative technology for preventing flood.

Determination of the Maxx Prospect Zone Petrophical Parameters in MA06 Well MA Field with Log Data Analysis

The well logging method is one of the methods used in petrophysical analysis to assess the formations used in obtaining information and shadows related to a reservoir. In addition, in an effort to determine success in the oil and gas field, this method is also included for calculating petrophysical values such as permeability, water saturation, and porosity. Then this value will be used in finding the initial oil reserves (OOIP) and initial gas reserves (GIIP) in the MA field. This will be very helpful in developing further oil and gas fields because materials are available as a basis for reference. This study analyzes the MA field precisely at the MA-06 Well by utilizing the qualitative and quantitative petrophysical analysis method by only referring to log data because there is no availability of core data. To find out the depth of the prospect zone and what fluid is in the formation, the authors analyze it in a qualitative way, namely by determining the permeable zone, then looking at the resistivity value, then determining the type of fluid on track 3. While in obtaining petrophysical values such as shale volume, porosity, water saturation and rock permeability the authors chose to use quantitative methods to analyze them. So that the results of the analysis carried out, it was found that the MAXX well has a net sand thickness of 36 feet and a net pay of 36 feet with an average value of shale volume, porosity, water saturation and permeability in that zone respectively 34.8%. , 18.03%, 35.3%, and 38.31 mD.
